your skin is Paradise
fingers all over

out of my heart

towards you

The Federation of International Football Associations, or FIFA,
will never ever be accused of being "Antifa",
but their recent actions should be anathema,
because it now stands for "Federation Indiscreetly Favoring America"!

Don't trouble me with your sacrosanct fetish for god.
Your arrogant conclusions,despotic delusions and
child like confusions are an anathema to me!
Blind faith hiz nae place in ma existence,
where a live catechism is ma king and provider,
the holy spirit a large hadron collider.

An Effect Without a Cause

An effect without a cause
A bolting into being
Is anathema to reason
A delirium or dream

Proximate – and ultimate
Phenomena exclaim
There is one rule inviolate -
Determinism reigns

The implication staggers -
Our will constrained, unfree
Yet if this be so
How can reason be?

Asthma Plus Miasma

A student battling with Asthma
And vaporous Miasma
Wouldn't he pack up Charisma?
Soon, confront the sure dilemma
Of suspending his Diploma
Or sniffing Hard Work's aroma...

Espy I do Anathema,
Its picture clearest cinema:
A man from a great deal barred
And a future that might be marred...

Worse than malfunctional plasma
Bad Asthma plus Bad Miasma!

Untitled

Tremulously as in a dream
I forget my place.
I wander the night air
    the smell of attar.
I reach the bottom gradation
The hill of my life thereupon.
Black sax notes the air
Feelings; crash; symbols.
Needle eyes, tortured bones.
Over head;
    fire and ice,
    radio lies; and sigh.
The anathema won't take long now.
Children with life burning in their souls.
Somewhere, there is joy
    also there is weeping.

Tis the Spirit That Quickeneth

But where is He going we can't understand ?
While tears of sadness, filled their babies eyes...
Quite became the night; precious heart's not knowing
Dreams in silence still stirring aside, this breath ? Beauty
Walking atop her waters manna from heaven; remembering
Unless one eats My flesh as drinks My blood, they have no life in them ? Words..
Deep wellsprings flowing brooks let the dead bury their dead ? Anathema Maranatha.

Anathema In '52

Tattoos were anathema in ‘52
on any man who got one
after an all-night drunk

or to impress a girlfriend.
But not a word was spoken to
a man who made it home

tattooed after serving
with his company in Korea.
Any man who made it back

was welcomed whether
he had Popeye on his bicep
or his girlfriend's name

even if the girlfriend married
someone she had met while he
was digging foxholes in Korea.

My old flame in the kitchen
Man, she could bring the heat
They’ve now induced induction
I feel so incomplete

It sprung up overnight
It lit the world ablaze
And now my flame’s anathema
In just a few short days

They say she causes asthma
And cognitive distress
I think there’s likely more at play
But that’s an addled guess

But I know when the grid is out
The Tesla has no charge
I’ll be flippin’ griddle cakes
with gas and living large

Antediluvian Forces

An anathema, a curse much worse
Long before the pope's decree
Everyone goes astray and stays that way
Antediluvian forces are hard at work
Born without army uniforms on
To never die
A quirk built into human nature survives
To restore order to its rightful place today
Enlightened by ancient night light
Don't ask why
No one can say Antediluvian
Without a smile
Praying for the good old days
Where God was on the other side
Of the flood, of blood, of love
