McGirt and I are all-weather friends.
We can finish each other's thoughts.
We like to have sleep overs.
We include others.
We joke a lot.
Friends do that.
I smile.

Pretty Plump

Pretty Plump

Kitty is pretty as well as plump
Into our yard someone did dump
Quite a calico cat for sure
All weather had to endure
Even make happy an old grump.

Life Is a Bird

This life is a bird and we are it's feathers
This bird becomes strong and withstands all weather
It's wings expand wider when we stick together
Then this bird we call life takes us much further

Remembering Father

Ask who has no father
its no less than bird without feather

Father are wings of all weather
help you reach sky, be with star

His stick may rap knuckles harder
but his stick alone cares for your future

He may not express, emote or share
but then, his heart beats for you ever

The Standing Stone

The stone stands alone it seems
against all weather and wane.
No one to share the vicious rain.
No shelter from wind or snow.
Storms come and go, the stone remains,
a little battered but tall and proud.
The kiss of sunlight warms through,
easing the cold dampness away.
The love of the moon lights the night,
not so alone is the standing stone.

No Conditions

Love has no conditions.
It knows no color, looks,
Or has a typical design.
Love can only occur,
With the Father's help.
I has nothing to do with sex.
Love is all about giving your best,
And forgetting about the rest.

Love is divine.
Love is around,
In all weather conditions:
whether or not outside,
It's rain, snow, sleet,
Or shine.

A Changed Man

He's not the boy she used to know wherever in the world did he go nor the man we once knew but it only goes to show time and tide took its toll for all that he's become and just one look will soon tell if he'll maintain or succumb as overwhelmed by numbers and totally surrounded through all weather can he ever remain steadfast or grounded

Wisdom From Trees

patience you will learn from me
to thrive upon diversity

strength to carry through all weather
how we get along together

honesty is always best
to slow your pace and have a rest

whilst standing tall and being proud
modesty is never loud

to persevere and sustain
through sunny days and falling rain

this is how we keep our youth
when we connect and share our truth.

Premium Member Captain America and the Falcon 160

He was defeated
by Captain America's all-weather paint
as he was the
furthest thing from a saint

His name was Solarr
and he drew his power from the sun
He would blast beams of energy
like a full-powered gun

He's most likely now
in a lowly dimmed cell
where he can cause no more damage
in this place he now dwells

He thought he was invincible
in his yellow costumed suit
but now he's in a place
where no one gives a hoot!

Goodbye

love is to breathe
death is to leave
joy is to be happy
pain is to suffer
madness in my head
misery in my mind
i have loved you for all time
take me grim to the other side
in this life too many tears i have cried
tired of living so i want to die
do not be sad it will not be bad
close my eyes forever
cherish you through all weather
when i die you will be on my mind
i have loved you for all time
on the other side i promise not to cry
to never see you again i truly have died

When Im Running

When I am running
no one can see
whats in my past
whats happened to me

When I am running
I am on cloud nine
I do it for myself
its something that is mine

When I am running
on my own I get bored
but with a group
personal bests I have scored

When I am running
I don't have to care
how I look
clothes, make up or hair

When I am running
I have such fun
out in all weather
wind, rain and sun

When I am running
training for the 10k
the goal I have in mind
ia for the woman's race in may
