Premium Member Haiku: Miss Behaved - Double Trouble
miss behaved like miss
thus proving all bets are off
butterfly effect

still with God's blessing
there will be catnip handy
for some lucky guy

Loyalty
without
it
love cannot stand,
friendship holds no ground,
the world is full of liars,
everyone is an enemy,
violence will win out,
strength is an irrelevant concept &
all bets are off....

My Heart Pulsates In My Chest
My heart pulsates in my chest
When you come around
All bets are off
I lay my cards on the table
As you shuffle the deck
And I tremble to think
That you actually know me
Yet still stay by my side...

Premium Member In View of the Mirror
Muted solitary moments run for days,
as the air of discontent begins to scoff
we vent in a wordless empty praise
pretending, telling the truth to back off;
in view of the mirror all bets are off.

A Tribute To Snatch
A caravan for a Turkish
not a tommy gun
you took the jam out of my doughnut
periwinkle blue
a desert eagle is not a replica nor a diamond
sweet enough without the sugar
that my son is why we're here
I think it's you who should behave
bollocks
all bets are off...

Give Back From the Heart
All bets are off
So tired of playing foolish games
You think you've won but
Then it always ends the same
At first you're on top
You know you've evened up the score
Then lose it all
You've nothing left, there is no more
Yet then the Dealer say's He'll give another shot
He asks for little, just that you give back from the heart
It sounds so easy so you say, so deal me in
It's worth it all,God sees the good and not the sin...

He'll Deal You In
All bets are off
So tired of playing foolish games
You think you’ve won but
Then it always ends the same
First you’re on top
You know you’ve evened up the score
Then lose it all
You’ve nothing left, there is no more
Yet then the Dealer says He’ll give another shot
He ask for little, just that you give back from the heart
It sounds so easy, so you say so deal me in
It’s worth it all, God sees the good and not the sin...

The Silent Pitch and Sportsmanship
It is not a conversation you overhear,
Like the questions rolling underfoot,
"Who goes there?".
You can see the grass has told
How tall to grow
To the chicory, dandelions and clover.
At the edge of the pitch
Where competition is stiff,
They grow bigger, taller and bolder;
Yet in each new match, every plant,
Agrees to a height and no taller.

Till in the next field over, where it's wild and fallowed,
It's to the death, all bets are off, and no foul.

The Kick It Ticket
not easily dissuaded
but recently persuaded
to oscillate in ways
living my lingering days

all bets are off
often I have scoffed
demeaning my demise
postponing I trivialize

I have a list to ask
prioritized by task
listings I'll conceive
or perhaps believe

would homelessness set me free
reality does not deceive
or should I ponder yonder
while continuing to wander

the bucket I shall kick it
for my Savior is the ticket
it’s become clear to me
it's Glory I need to see...
