but in truth, there is nothing to acquire

Time and again, reaffirm the one truth,
that God alone is, etched upon our soul,
for earth life sojourn, caged in body booth,
deluded thereby, seeking earthy goals,

Death the release, putting our soul at ease,
yet here-now too, we may flow like the breeze,
moment to moment, building love quotient,
choosing tenderness, embrace and release,
dissolving ego in the bliss current.

until we get to cessation,
relinquishing lower mind.
What remains is presence,
unfettered, unbound,
one with the flow,
stillness slow,
quiet
now

gently
here and now
alive, aglow,
with no agenda,
save to savour flavour
of the flow of life throbbing
as we watch it’s pulse rise and fall;
a dance beauteous beyond measure,
spectacle of delight for each earth soul.

Spiralling thoughts and specious logic repeatedly reinforce their affirmations rooted in swamplands of delusion with the singular aim of nurturing lower mind, continuing to shroud the self evident truth of our luminous divinity. As such, the shift, so to speak, is a journey without movement, being simply stilling mind-body identification and with it, resting cravings arising from attachment to maya borne illusions.
