Was another entity or individual
I have discovered that it was

Reality came crashing into my dream
You were my fairytale, and my happily ever after
You were the prince that I always dreamed of
It's okay because I will forever have the dream
However, reality is always lurking behind
Death life’s’ adversary
Cruel selfless all about me
Discriminate no bounds
Grim reaper swallows
Another soul washed away
A child is born
Life is carried on
Love and empathy
A sad lover’s song
Dark closes in on
My hapless heart
An empty end
A fruitless start

That reigning monarch's hammered earth
decided from my time of birth

This somber will of God o'er man
