Death life’s’ adversary
Cruel selfless all about me
Discriminate no bounds
Grim reaper swallows
Another soul washed away
A child is born
Life is carried on
Love and empathy
A sad lover’s song
Dark closes in on
My hapless heart
An empty end
A fruitless start
