Don'T Follow Your Heart

People give unknowingly bad advice
Follow your heart they say
Do they know, that the Adversary
Can easily lead your emotions astray
The Savior says use the mind to decide
Then you should, knowingly choose the righteousness way

So this is light, huh? I was thinking it would be funny. heehee. (but it is very wise). I want to see the poems you consider some of your best. Tell me what they are. Let me go search out one more at least. I am playing catch up here for all the people I missed commenting to in the past three days!

and sometimes we also must know when to stand for righteousness sake and when to just listen, and know it is best to turn the other cheek. These end times, the world, the hatred. There is a diference between the faithful and the religious. Your poetry this morning really got me going in the good aspects I believe, thanks so much for sharing this particular piece of your work, Sincerely, Cindy Lu
