Plato On a Spacecraft

To adequately consider the problem of one and many,
place yourself in orbit
and distinguish between what you see each successive time around.

Beyond Words

Sometimes a kitty cat
Sometimes a cute bluebird
But always just so beautiful
There really are no words
To adequately describe her
You can't capture sunlight
You can try to if you want to
But you'll never get it right

Time Is of the Essence

Time
conveys,
one must have
sound wisdom and
be adequately
prepared to handle life
efficiently, forge ahead
and pursue a worthwhile purpose,
then it remains on one's comfort side,
or else only revision soothes the soul.

Annual Marsupial Luncheon

Marsupial luncheon was a huge success
We had enough food with a plausible guess
Kangaroo baby made an enormous food mess
We did not help mama clean it, I must confess.

It’s all in her pouch the koala said.
She is embarrassed. Her face is quite red.
Opossum did not reply. She was playing dead.
All marsupials were amply and adequately fed.

All Year Long

All Year Long!

Go from gleaning
To harvesting!
From just working
For a few days
To harvesting
All year long!
Prepare the land
See thorns uprooted
Break up the ground
See a new area open up!
Sow the seeds and
Sprinkle water daily
Fertilize adequately
Protect your harvest!
Understand and reap
Your harvest with glee!

Three Words Rimas Dissolutas

Together yet all you felt was lost
something so insincere in the tone;
Three words the expression never fit;
Affection not felt adequately;

Lied to when all you wanted was trust
instilling thoughts to remain alone;
Soft touch but they just could not commit,
no one would stand by you faithfully;

Then again a new voice sounds different;
‘I love you’ is home coming from me.

Jeopardy and Other Awkard Words

Those who are difficult are always difficult to understand.
We never know what they mean or wmay ant to mean.
Confused, confounded and contagious are words which
adequately describe all of our current times.
Jeopardy is another significant
Why would you want to put someone else's lif in jeopardy?
What and who gave you to right to do this anyway.
Only God can truly, honestly answer these questions.
Amen

As I Do

You wouldn't need me if you could trust yourself the way I do, if you could understand yourself the way I do. You'd be floating in the endless blue sky, free of the bonds you've imposed on yourself and others. You are much more than you realize. You are far more powerful than you realize. Even words can't adequately describe you. If only you could see the fire within yourself as I do, if only you could see yourself as I do.

Steve Jeltz

Steve Jeltz, you did something great. You hit a home run from both sides of the plate. Both home runs were hit during the same game. That was your one great moment of fame. Today, we have just about forgotten your name. Steve played shortstop for the Phillies. It was only for a few seasons in the eighties. Not too many switch-hitting shortstops can be found. You filled in adequately while you were around.

A Food Slob

She savored her delicious red eye gravy
Slurping it up while she was in the navy.
Most of us were truly uniquely impressed.
At how her stomach was adequately dressed.
The fabulous bib that she wore at her neck,
Was beauty-wonderful in every respect.
We followed her around this little tiny town.
Slurping ample bits of gravy off of the ground.
With a wisp of warm buttered corn on the cob.
Because you see she was kind of a slob.

The Ache of Our Estate

we hoard for hearts busted by our storm
we enable the swarm caused by our norm

stability is tainted by uneven balances of change
i wonder what the central truths of ourselves can possibly arrange

you stay in your kerchief and i in my cap
for once we unwind from our zigzagging entwining, it is all pretty much a rap

when the laughter comes and the frustration and tears dissipate,
we are finally able to create the antidote to adequately cure the ache of our estate

In My Head

My perception are clear,
free as a birdie soaring,
wonder whatever my fate is,
its being accomplish,
regret to leave earth
with my journey ignored,
intention to go see my Savior
when I depart,
prepare to form
my ensuing discovery,
leave me fortunate
favor my parents
among abundance,
supplicate for those hospitalized,
homeless nation to nation,
secure America a mature
prominent land anew,
fight away negative belief
outlook in my head every day
mean adequately,
positively
