O Holy Night was the score
writing it was never a chore
Elegant
short
choppy
dialogue
War
women
bullfights
and wine
Early morning
backyard
shotgun
a perfect ending
Sam Adams was a quack, a fake
Not there to protect but to take
He was on the make
He was a total flake
Make no mistake
As he was such a rake.
A real snake.
A lazy swim
In cold cold water
Of Adams Pond
Feels great
But its been
Rainey and dreary
But it feels so good
Chills me to the core
But as soon as I get out
I wanna swim some more

Words softly whisper, thoughts float as dreams, a poetic angel it seems

A cloud…
A prelude
To ecstasy
A sweet fluffy bed
That carries you and me
A floating castle of dreams
Where nothing is quite what it seems
Cloud Number 9: our room in the sky
Making love...as we "watch the world go by!"

Beth Adams, I've searched for you
Your reading my poems I appreciate
My problem is I can't find you listed
So I can say thanks.
I'll just do it this way
And let you know you are welcome
Even though I can't find your comments
God Bless, Cile
A time capsule was uncovered in Olde Boston the other day.
'Twas found in the Statehouse cornerstone, so they say.
'Twas placed there by patriots Samuel Adams and Paul Revere.
'Mongst other things found were three jugs of Samuel Adams Beer!

Sam Adams Drunk Driver Same, Same but Different
Sam Adams was drunk driving
Too fast down an English rural country lane
He ran at a stoplight he did not see
Blew threw a roundabout
Was rubbed out in an accident.
His drinking buddy, the traffic cop flatfoot,
Smoothed over his death ruling it an accident,
And not drunk driving.
(Dedicated to Don Adams who died September 25, 2005.)
You soared to fame in the sixties as Maxwell Smart.
You had a lot of talent and a very big heart.
You died on my parents 40th wedding anniversary.
When you died, millions of people were saddened and sorry.
You also did the voice of Inspector Gadget, I loved that cartoon.
You lived a long life but you were still taken from us too soon.

Sam Adams was a cowboy
Back in the wild west
A badass gunslinger
For hire to the biggest bidder
Often working for the law
Sometimes working for the outlaws
He did not see much difference
He took the jobs
That paid him the most
Thought that if he did not do it
Someone else would no doubt
Sam Adams thought about death
As he shot those that needed killing,
Better them than him he thought.
A unique vision through the camera lens,
Portraits of nature in black and white.
Letting the beauty of contrast speak.
The California Coastline, the Sierras,
The Southwest..all in the starkest outline.
And Yosemite, whose grandeur he loved best.
A life spent capturing these wonders
Letting his work inspire; an incentive
To protect these treasures for all our tomorrows.

Taking in all the beauty of
this sunny brand new day
As squirrels scurry about,
caught up in their play
Watching brilliant colors
blend together up in the skies
A soft gentle breeze whispers
Good Morning in silky sweet sighs
amidst the threads
of autumn trees
i listen as the morning speaks
a sigh within its silky breath
rustles through the leaves
within its golden branches
nested squirrels arise in play
beneath horizon's serenade
