War

a perfect ending
I like those moments
Where only for a second
Every confining thing
That is in my world
Ceases to exist

I'd coming running to you
If your arms were wide open
That way I know I'm running
Towards a warm embrace

Mary, Mary quite contrary
This is what I want to know
With an Adams apple
And the razors dapple
Are you really a girl, yes or no?

Sam Adams was a quack, a fake
Not there to protect but to take
He was on the make
He was a total flake
Make no mistake
As he was such a rake.
A real snake.

Form:
Washington & Adams retired to their lair
Jefferson invented the swivel chair,
Taft went back to the law-
Of late,cashing-in seems the plan
Only Harry ,was a true man
A lazy swim
In cold cold water
Of Adams Pond
Feels great
But its been
Rainey and dreary
But it feels so good
Chills me to the core
But as soon as I get out
I wanna swim some more

Words softly whisper, thoughts float as dreams, a poetic angel it seems

Sam Adams
A lonely old man
Was walking in the hills
Near his house,
Encountering mocking birds,
Mocking him, chasing him.
He ran down the path fleeing,
Hearing omens of his pending doom
Sunset painting velvety sky at nighttide
tones of red clouds shimmering above mountains
trace the downward spiral of wafting sunset
replaced with darkness

Sam Adams
Was a wanted man
Wanted for crimes
Against humanity.
Wanted for collusion,
With the enemies of humanity.
With a ten million reward
For his capture or death.

Sad Detritus It In Eight
Sam Adams looked back
at the lost loves
Failed opportunities
And monolithic blues
That he concluded
Was the sad detritus of his life.
He sighed and went out
To the Cosmos bar for another drink.

A cloud…
A prelude
To ecstasy
A sweet fluffy bed
That carries you and me
A floating castle of dreams
Where nothing is quite what it seems
Cloud Number 9: our room in the sky
Making love...as we "watch the world go by!"

I hope it is not too soon that i too
Am welcomed home
Beth Adams, I've searched for you
Your reading my poems I appreciate
My problem is I can't find you listed
So I can say thanks.
I'll just do it this way
And let you know you are welcome
Even though I can't find your comments
God Bless, Cile
Sickness incredulously slipped the noose
wormed its way past healthy constitutions
and lodged spear like into Adams’ rib
Tenaciously Life held back
marshalling the frontline
lymphocytes funneled nutrients
from Mother’s soup
into the societal fray.
Well known as the Queen of Serene
Most beautiful you've ever seen
Epitome of style and grace
Has mastered both denim and lace
The Queens head is seldom held high
Never to be considered shy
But rather of course as you know
That makes the Adams Apple show!
Hell can wait
while i get the heaven
out of here
Adams pride i will ruin
The bitten apple
falls upon the forgotten giant shoulders,
knowledge changing future,
and trickles to the ground
and now within our hands is held
where does the spider hide in this web

the morning air staggers above the lake
through trees, i almost feel it kissing me
my thoughts spiral down like leaves amidst fall
this emptiness is more than i can take
beneath closed eyes you are all that i see
yet emptiness haunts within morning's call

a
river
wends its way
through harsh terrain -
your landscape is college, dating, career
you feel lost, so I encourage you that
rivers always
find their way
