My Uncle Bill thought it would be hilarious and fun.
To warn a fellow merchant of a shoplifter - Miss Gun.
The employees followed her all over the store that day.
They reported that she left quickly, as if she was running away.
She came outside and we could see she was in a snit.
She had a red face, and brown eyes were flashing quite a bit.
What is wrong? Someone asked and Bill could not stop his grin.
I noticed it, and so did my unobserving usually ten-year-old twin.
Our Aunt Marge was in a horrible mood when to home we returned.
Those employees followed me the whole time! She was truly burned.
Bill kept laughing but did not tell the rest of us of his prank.
Until Marge left. She was the oldest sister, and could be a real crank.

She is a known shoplifter my Uncle Bill told friend Jim, owner of store.
Jim has two employees follow my Aunt Marjorie around, staring at her.
Uncle Bill tells the story and we all hoot with laughter.
Of course he waits until Marjorie has gone home to tell us.
She often boxed his ears when they were children.
He has no idea what she would do to him for this.

Eagle soars, circles in the updraught
keen eyes spot rabbit
it swoops, dives
run rabbit run
at the last possible moment
it turns uphill
eagle has to turn away
for fear of wing damage
talons missed the target
rabbit gets away
I am with you
Young child sneaks out of tent
at dawn, runs down to the water
crock lays in waiting
in a foot of water
near the edge as fauna
looks for a morning drink
young child about to step into
the water gets spooked
by a magpie, runs back to the tent
crock goes hungry
I am with you
Stalker watches young woman in car park
pack shopping every Wednesday night at 10
he's already killed before
as he's about to abduct her
a police car pulls into the carpark
to apprehend a suspected shoplifter
She goes home
I am with you
always

Those Awesome Folks on Facebook
By Elton Camp
Many Facebook profiles are only a joke
For nobody seems to be an ordinary bloke
Such fascinating lives all of them live
At least based on the information they give
“It’s a gated community where I reside”
The trailer park has a gate to let ‘em inside
They are a professional, they let you know
But don’t tell that they’re a professional hobo
“I drive a long, black Cadillac,” he’ll aver
But he’s actually a hearse driver, I hear
“It’s direct public service that I do”
But she works at McDonald’s is true
“Retail inventory control is my game”
Shoplifter catcher he is, just the same
“I work hours in the gym every day”
That he’s the janitor, he doesn’t say
If pictures are genuine, there’s no telling
That one looks a lot like Tori Spelling
Just once, this is what I’d like to see
“Old, fat and bald well describes me”

the number of the bygone era in the history utter failure
as an old bread from a shoplifter
that love had as herbs antlers
and the benefits were buffed around the choir
appropriate dress
the dangling of the seas fog bring back the fire in the shadow of the skin
or maybe we are overwhelmed by the thunder in the light of hell
under the dunes of lions
princes and the size is now full
belittled the flight of the past must now do penance
I was so wrong about the way your innocence tormented in the
haze
each child has his worldly consideration
