To the Crown Prince

O brilliant son of the desert,
You rose through the maze of your House
With precision sharper than a blade.
The future trembles beneath your feet—
But power, untempered by wisdom,
Is a fire that devours its bearer.

Do not chase the glory of empires too fast.
Rome was not built in one day—
And neither shall a just Arabia.
You cannot serve two masters:
The West with its silver tongue,
And your people, whose eyes still hunger.

Choose neutrality not as weakness,
But as strategy.
Your true legacy lies not in gold towers,
But in lifting the soul of your nation.

Forsake not your brother, Iran.
To unite the Crescent is to raise a new dawn.
The blood of Gaza weeps through the sand,
And every drop asks:
"Where is our brother?"

Sunni, Shia, Sufi—one people,
Divided by politics, not by God.
To unite them is to write your name beside kings,
To divide them is to sow your own ruin.

Beware the advisors with smiles from Tel Aviv
And tongues sharpened in Washington.
They do not dream for you—
They only use your night to hide their shadow.

The Middle East can rise again,
But only if you learn this truth:
Real power is not feared,
It is trusted.

The Iran pact's signed with a seal
But t-rump can't stand Shia zeal
So them he'll eschew
And force a new breakthrough
Since only he knows how to deal

A child
Foaming at the mouth
Dying
Islam crying

Sunni tears
Shia tears
Drowning in each others fears
Off with the masks

Wear your smiles
Give heart and cheerful warmth
Not lectures and verse
Allow us women to converse

Follow the Surahs of compassion
Forgive the Surahs of revenge
Lets all grow red roses in our gardens
So that bombs of blood stop raining

On our children
Sunni and Shia civil wars
From bloodshed to others shores
Christians shout, no more!

Syria the infection
From Russian injection
Islamic horrors
Where is the west?

Together We Stand

Together We Stand

Together you and I can win this fight
if we stand together side by side
let's forget our differences in our belief
let's unite as one Ummah believing in one faith

Forget being Sunni or Shia for a change
it's time to unite and be as one again
believing in One God and in His messenger
bringing light and hope to the world's darkest corner

Stop the hatred that tries to divide us
fight the terrorists that hide and live among us
let's build a better world where everyone is safe
and restore the honor and dignity to our faith

Together let's fight the evil in our midst
that harm and destroy the harmony and peace
let's sow love, understanding and tolerance
let's give peace a chance to reign in our lands

This Is War

Shia and sunni.Religion at war.Do these brothers and sisters, know what they fight for?
As you may know,a man once proclaimed! I am the last,Of prophets of old.
The years go by.The prophet grows old.Should he chose his successor,or wait and be bold?
Soon though it was over, final breath was exhaled.About the successor the followers said, who did he chose from the fold?
This man one said,no that man fell dead. Here's the next prophet! No that isn't said!!
Fourteen centuries later. The war rages on.Should anyone takes sides? Oh no,that has been done.Shia and sunni.Religion at war.Do these brothers and sisters, know what they fight for?

Beleif In Sunni Or Shia

There spelt some say so badly
acceptance might be taken sadly

Why should accuracy matter
writing talking of delusion
thereby compounding fault

Or maybe not
let them slice each others throats

Both writing such rubbish poetry about religion
hate their minds all addled just so much indecision

All drinking coke drooling dreaming of relaxed blondes
Hate in their minds trapped by parents tied in their bonds

Shia's Gift of Courage

I promise to tell you how beautiful you are
And let you know before you were born, you were a rare star

I pray God cast courage upon you
To remember the past but create something new

Your a blessing, a new life
It's up to me to teach you wrong from right

This is your life and you have the wheel
But I tell you my child, in this life there are downhills

It's important that you get back up and carry on,
To a brand new melody, to a brand new song

Use this paintbrush to paint what's in your heart
For your life is your own little work of art

I pray God cast courage upon you,
To explore this world with the gift he's given to you

To walk with a smile and joy in your eyes
Because this life, temporary sweet child,
We are only here for a while

                                                                       -Ashley Humes

Mission Accomplished

Mission Accomplished

	Basra, 2005

He doesn’t cry about it
anymore. No tears
in years. On occasion, though,
those who know him

see his good arm fly,
fist up, just above his eye.
So far the sun each time
has backed away,

allowing him to walk,
his good arm ready,
through the village
one more time

where he and others
picked off Shia
on a birdless
summer day.
