Erratically-tossed sequins
Mark the places of night's stadium -
A netherworld of colored stones
For the spry flights of cherubim -
And Jehovah - madman or genius -
I cannot quite discern -
Overlays time upon us
And I'm a lowly spectator.
One angel keeps an amethyst -
Ignoring an agate - then ruby;
I do wonder if by chance
There's a rock somewhere for me ...

I'm an estuary of ivy-furs,
sleeping in monsoonal moonglades of love~
as the savannah sun of sunset blurs,
slowly unveiling stars with golden glove.
When russet- fairies twirl in a bronze lake,
singing with springs of watermelon wand,
an untouched summer unfurls behind ache,
lacing twilights with lush wishes, so fond.
Garden of grapefruit, doesn't forbid faith,
exotic eyes paint life with a rare art,
where hilly hues drape seashores ~ daisy-bathe,
my muse weaves magic on the 'bay of heart'.

In the dynamic landscape of many promises,
my vibrant life has persevered to pave
the pathway that meanders on the time’s trail,
traces the wheels’ imprints fading into the mist of future,
as I traverse at a desired pace destiny decides.
Many streams in spate I’ve crossed in surging squalls
with the budding desires sheltered in my heart.
My dreams slowly wither like the autumn flowers,
and find all the enticed butterflies drift away to nowhere
from my fawn meadow once so verdant .
The fallen leaves dance the last dance in my garden,
their rustling cadence resonates in my pensive heart.
As the setting sun wraps me with melancholic hue,
I seek the warmth of niche in your evasive embrace
in the chilly night that falls with flakes of broken dreams.
Far from the twilight zone into the desolate night,
I search wandering for the remaining path to travel,
while in uncertain frail steps I walk the last mile
through the spent life’s debris of fulfillment,
where I find stardust sprinkled sequins of beauty.

A dribble of pink
A dabble of green
She dances in starlight
Imagination full seen
Her artistic flair twirls and spins right ahead.
A splash of sequins flow lively
Into her fantastical head
Rhinestone dreams formulate a clever stream
of fun-loving sparkling, bits of clever dream scenes
A dribble of paisley,
A swirl of love
Her canvas takes on its own attributes
inspired by heaven above
Whorls and whirls
Imagination on fire for sure
A dribble of lavender
Reminding her that art is all pure.
A splash of thunder
A bolt of plaid with a fuss.
A true artist’s power, as it always was…

Sparkling dresses
Stiff, unyielding dresses
Alive with sequins and tulle
that pulls itself out of
her swollen fingers
Jackie Kennedy dresses
Rich woman's baubles
But no coat
Freezing rain coats her hair
cools her fevered cheeks
Leg infected where he shot her
Yellow pus running down her leg,
gluing her pants to flesh
Pulling the fabric away tears skin too
Half the dresses make a pallet
under a rotted log
Half the dresses make a slippery
covering, sequins sliding
That suitcase purloined
from beneath a Goodwill truck...
Judas, liar, serves as a tent
when put upside down
over the log and some brush
Keeps the worst out of her eyes
It would be logical
that she die by morning...
but she never seemed to have a bit of luck
