Given armor to stave off the burning, I would pull the sun down from the skies
Falling away from heavens light is showing me you are numb to this blistering pain; without feeling it, you and I will never synchronize.
A point now frozen in time is what I have conceptualized
You show without remorse, there will always be, armageddon in your eyes
Floating throughout the infinite; I seek asylum with you, how shall I surrender my disguise?
Inevitable as these heavens fall, am I allowed within your light?
Or in the ensuing hell, will I find you as my minds paradise?
Holding the mask of my sequester, you illuminate the graveyard behind my eyes
Even if death shattered a thousand suns; love can not be burned or buried if it was just a hole where emptiness lies.

Mute Soundings

Trapped in between the lyric
and music
Wandering in a rhythm
of lost expectation
Blaming each note still unplayed
and unwritten
The echoes distend
in a moment’s undoing

Hearing a chorus
when no choir is present
Voices imagined
to sing my sequester
Wandering aimless
through scores of abandon
Harmony denied me
—nightmarish and deafening

Bloodlines

Far from educations superstition
In the barren fields they planted their tyranny
Where the pagan made a cross of stars
In the green lands of their mysticism

Yet still by ancient tongue they have spoken
Be they a black tooth the rule of pontiff
And by tax and gold brought their destruction
And lay it on the bloody wrists of Jesus

Here they hammered sacrifice
Hard they tortured the thorns of Christ
And here by fat they stole the command
Broken heart to the inquisition's hand

Depart now your Isis and Diana
Succumb to this a worship of stone
To the virgin pray
For your sisters have no salvation

Dammed they say be Magdalene Eve
Such sinful opression shall walk with thee
Let shame beset and be thy burden
Never hence by our decree will you stand again in union

In barren lands they did sequester their tyranny
And hidden amongst you a scar so bitter in time
And by foul and twisted philosophy
Come with promise and redemptions prejudice
To break you from your bloodlines

Where once the pagan made a cross of stars
And by the heavens wrote their mysticism
To be humbled at the feet of woman
Life so tenderly given to raising up the son of man

Have Been Crying For Bryan

are in a pickle
money down failed to trickle
chopped up with cycle

had been requester
of who would be a tester
about sequester

God never provoke
thinks our job is a big joke
saved me from a stroke.

went to sleep last night
then woke up bushy and bright
tailed quite a sight
(became a stalactite)
(went out and flew kite)
(be nice guy I might)
(of breakfast took bite)

God will save our soul
bring back to Him is His goal
my heart away stole.

have some sins to spare
various vaccine shall share
for us they did care

learned new language
when you will much anguism
in always languish

overcome is goal
suffering did take its toll
God pleas make me whole

an opposing view
either accept or refuse
has been current news

we had so much fun
but now those days are all gone
past away would run

from us he did leave
and for we will grieve and grieve
in God we believe

sins God will remove
which will cause things to improve
us he did behove

for Bryan Have Been crying

We will love Bryan
great person no denying
for him are crying

Premium MemberAmericans Do Not Take Direction Well

My daughter is a public health specialist
She says the CV19 would be gone in three weeks
if Americans would sequester themselves
But we will not because we are arrogant

And we do not want anyone telling us what to do
She has begged me to sequester myself in the house
Maybe even a closet with no air holes or windows
Because my immune system is compromised

If anyone ever got a virus while sequestered
For a thousand days, not seeing anyone else at all
It would be me. If there is one thing I am positive about
it is that. First bit of positivity I have felt in ten days.

Hey! Is that the door! I rush to open it.
I have not seen a person in ten days.
No one except my husband who refuses to be sequestered.
It is a wagon full of toilet paper and the last hand sanitizer
on this side of the Mississippi.

Covid-19 Coping

It seems to happen frequently
At least in this millennium
All the freedoms we enjoy
We now must keep to minimum

They say we must can cel our plans
And figure out why tissue
Has disappeared from grocer's shelves
When toilets aren't the issue

Was it a snake that put me in
This frantic need to sanitize
Or could a bat have sneaked one by
And caused this world to agonize?

I'd hardly think a wayward germ
Is gonna take my lungs out
But lis'ning to the MSM
My saner side will then doubt

Following the movie stars
In self-imposed restrictions
I'll give in to sequestering
And snub the contradictions

So now I wait to see what the
Stock market guys will guess at
And what my local diplomates
Will emphasize and stress that

Contamination headlines streak
Across the news like comets
I could not close this timely rhyme
Ignoring words like vomit.

You Can’t Yank My Chain
Written: by Tom Wright
1/14/2013

I don’t lease space within my head,
To allow an opinion to lay and fester;
I’ll not permit others to cause me dread,
Or my deepest thoughts to sequester;

I value friendships if they’re refined,
And convey to me no pre-conditions.
Don’t come to me with change in mind,
Daring to take, or change, inhibitions.

You’ll find I won’t be a friend so kind,
If inflicting on me any unwanted pain;
It won’t merit the effort you’ll find,
For I won’t allow you, to yank my chain;

Horse Hunn

Hester let her say sequester-
and she feted the focus,

folks fallen inside say-

i wonder,

! plunder,

say Donner much dumber than plundering the groovy grow.

Too much woolen sleeve not enough reep!

Too much stolen ski not enough heavy peace!

Because the people will all fall over,
into fives-
into lives -
and yes baby into the night.

Virtue and Virtuous

Virtue and Virtuous

All my poems God soon did view;
Seldom had He seen word virtue,
And read more,
In search for;
Then found it in only a very few.

Thought about word virtuous;
With God would further discuss;
Then agreed;
Fulfils a need;
So are being used by both of us.

We would Have Withstood

What I want to do if God would,
World's time to have withstood;
Limitless,
Always is;
With Him know I can and could.

We Should Sequester

Thought that we would be a Trump tester;
He is an infection which will always fester;
Less can care;
Hard to bare;
Him and his assets we should sequester.

Jim Horn

PS. Andrea and all my other fans,
how about this one?

Premium MemberHere Now

Here now
Between two eternities
We love

Glimpse then
Change grow between harmony
We share

Seek spice
Fragrant as sweet plumerias
We see

Craze prompts
Contra with defiant action
We seize

Day hurls
Brisk traffic heavy laden
We sigh

Night flings
Sensations that sequester
We rest

Now here
Purpose and passion cluster
We see

Premium MemberDengue Fever

Upon these humid shores,
Mosquitoes now bite more;
Dread and fever seek shores
As disease moot galore.

Stray echoes tell odd tales,
Reason sighs sans avail;
Logic primes visual sales
As fatal signs prevail.

Humid heat makes clusters,
Bites no laughing matter;
Jest will not sequester
The dengue molester!

Boston Legal

Boston Legal raises jurisprudence burdens of proof to a more realistic level
Observant fans of Bergen, Shatner, Spader, David Kelley could be seen as rebels,
Savoring games of assault and battery on real life large and small actualities
Testifying every act negligent or malfeasance and trivial grotesque fatalities.
Opinionated obscure minds, open up objectionable hearts and bankrupt eyes
Negligently embracing the politicians easily spoken but perjured lies.

Larceny lessons from history's changing more lenient laws is unmistaken
Evidentiary episodes expunge the human condition without real exoneration.
Guilty grievances gain feelings of raw emotional desire for monetary recovery
Arresting allegations appealing callous affidavits of due process inspired discovery
Legal litigations of ridiculous actions sequester every man's cross examination.

Carpe Diem

CARPE DIEM

These struggles are not insurmountable.
I am striving and thriving for more.
The strife I am in put me on top of the world.
Today I know people for who they are.
However, all this is just preliminary.
Foundation for me to excel from.
I am going after my dreams.
I will not be hinder by downward spiraling.
I will seize the day.

The discord of a country is political propaganda.
It will cause friction and human mania.
However, this is just a prerequisite to becoming a develop country.
I see the dilemma of a nation living as one.
I know that my niche has formed.
I must sequester a destiny to conform the norms.
The Lord has given me this transformation to perform.
No bamboozling is allowed.
I will seized the day because this is my time.

Keep Calm

Keep Calm
Keep Calm

centreI gulp I gasp I choke I chant
Only to be saved by a swallow
I hypnotize I hypocrisies I dream I deny
Only when officiating the mourning of mornings

my body balances : my mind meanders..

I exercise my anxiety I clothe I meditate my mind
The performance presents the participation of a pause
I show case stage fright I sequester I summon the night
The time the tyranny the tick tock tick the torment

My mind misplaced : My body embraced

I whisper I procrastinate
I sleep I sleepwalk
I sleep
I slumber>

Slighted

Slighted

We are a proud people
Years progressed from the hardest of times
History glorified, often fragmented,
celebrated, but not allocated true recognition.
Made infamous for ignorance
lacking the embodiment of a true essence
Hardships fought by ancestors
but we would rather let society sequester
Education and advancement
Too enthralled with garments and dance
instead of loving each other for intelligence,
relevant viewpoints, or political stances.
Seemingly crippled by unavoidable violence
As another teen falls your senses are blinded by sirens.
Do you hear that?
The gunshots, the poverty, the rubbish they dare call music
Senses abused and misused as I am mortified by
the scarcity of faith and hope.
Consumed by small-mindedness
They either ball, rap, or move that dope.
Only a fool would ever idolize these jesters.
I am insulted.
Loathing the eyes which portray this view:
All aforementioned specimens look just like you
and I.
The voices that dare aspire to inspire
are to faint and oft times unheard.
Unanimity and acumen needn’t be dreams deferred.
