Into the dark corners of desire,
long left standing upon
the un-swept floor of secret yearning
have I strived to press your memory away.
Which over time of endless days
and with a heart now callused
by the emptiness of self deceit,
have I sought that you should
vanish from my mind
and torment me no longer.
For I long to love again.
But all effort is vain,
for in the weakness of quiet moments
my strength and will are nothing
as the softness of your beauty rises
upon wings of fire, illuminating
every inner passion… and I burn.
And you become as if real before me,
and in the cloak of moonlit night
I tremble at the vision of your eyes before me.
I gasp in shallow breath as the dream
of your lips touch softly upon my skin
and I am helpless… and I am yours.
Knowing that when I wake, I shall rise alone
and in pointless effort walk into the sunrise
of yet another day wherein…
I shall strive to forget.

Brush against my shoulder.
Gently, gently,
friend
or curtain in the wind.
Light a candle,
I’m not looking.
And when all the lights have dimmed:
come comb through the thicket of my armpits,
string the pearly, sweaty beads
on a necklace,
moonlit, shining,
showing me my self-deceit.
Hanging from the lintel’s lip,
I will catch the morning sun.
But for now, brush,
gently, gently
and call me dear foolish one.

Its quest is over.
Life's. Wholesome-faced.
At this drop off point, a world's
Sea-washed. Effaced.
Shackled by which search, a slave's
Profitless, for coin
Proved it, toward more and more
Becoming joy-rich
Now breathing freer, will ditch
What for too long chafed
Of self deceit, to the winds.
Sharpest thought-cleansing

Tick tock,
No time for her son,
‘On Tiktok bleeping her cleavages to strange men,
Social media hallucination,
living a lie,
Here, everything is perfect,
The sky is blue, it never rains,
Everyone is rich & poverty is slang on the lips of black men,
Here, love is beautiful;
Till breakfast is served in court,
We lie too much,
Like politicians, our tongues are twisted,
Curled, tangled, braided in self-deceit,
Sometimes God doubts he created us,
We lie too much.

Between light and shadow
Existence´s walked
Tiresome and obligated symbiosis
Wretched war bewildered heart
Sprung out from depths unknown
Desire to exist craving to be
Thrives in the split engulfed in haze
And with impeccable dare
Steers the gift of life with negligence
Not matter route nor speed
Consequence lays ignored
Self-deceit must endure
Rare moments of unseen defiance
Dragged by currents of obscure clarities
Try in vain to reach the shores
Gasping for life’s significance

I shout at Dad, I shout at Mum
I shout because my life's humdrum
a snap snap snapping teen snare drum
I was so dumb; I was so dumb.
I shout at him, them, and others
each and everyone that smothers
I want my life, not another's
stupid mothers, stupid mothers
I shout aloud inside my mind.
I lost my job, was I sidelined?
my entire life is undermined
credit declined, credit declined.
I shout because I have to eat
I sell myself like rancid meat
I learn to practice self-deceit
walking the street, walking the street.
I shout because I'm so annoyed
this stupid world is so devoid
of feelings about life destroyed
into the void, into the void.

I am praying for the day,
When all walls will fall away,
And we as sons and daughters,
Will all truly obey.
The commandment to love one another,
Is the great and first commission.
To love God with all our hearts,
Might, mind and strength, our mission.
This is the celestial law abiding,
With no lies or self-deceit in the way.
There must be no inner hiding,
And for all this we must pray.
We all require our one true King.
Only He can sustain and set free,
But to be in his kingdom,
Each one must be at peace.
In this we must have no borders,
No place we cannot go,
For a King to reign in heaven,
There must be every room to grow.
There will be no manner of -ites,
No one will be excluded from their rights.
Each one loved as all are one,
Every moment blessed with pure divine.
Here in these last days, this is our destination,
For as Christ is to come, we are to receive Him.
No one will abide the day, unless we are all together,
In one body, one faith, under one head, forever.

I use make-believe
overwriting memory
to bring me some peace
The fiction I’ve weaved
you’re at the store - you wouldn’t leave
is a fool’s relief
So I take mine neat
sweet opiate of self-deceit
my strange trick or treat
*a play, in 3 Senryus*

ps, I write short stories too

My fight is not about fists and kicks
My fight is about absorbing pain and defeat
My fight is not about climbing the highest peaks
My fight is about self-realization overcoming self-deceit

Bury not your hopes in the garden of Self-Deceit,
Hoping they will come up blooms –
They will not,
And you will be the worse for it
But try all the same
To Love!
To Love, to Love, To Love, To Love!
For there are better things
Than being sour and sorrowful.
These three things understand,
That if Faith be lost, Then
There is Still Hope,
And if Hope be lost, Then
There is Still Charity
“And the greatest of these,
Is Charity!”

Steam driven ashes and lava from volcanoes
Obscure tomorrows
Exploding from bean pods and tomatoes
Beseeching and seeking halos
Our lives require
To earn a rebirth
Inspire and inquire
Whether a new berth
Becomes of the essence
In the path the future offers
Despite the intensive care unit defence
Happiness in bloom proffers
To decrease the harm
Self destruction and self deceit
Can inflict when calm
Vanishes into the precinct whose welcome receipt
Determines if our happiness hangs on the thread
Lost in the complexity and cohesion in the spiderweb
Enmeshed in the labyrinth whose bedstead
Holds the secret to our arrival and survival on the World Wide Web
Where happiness navigates
Searching for you and I
Not as surrogates at Sorrows’ Gates
But as equal partners in debunking a fatal lie.

The world teeters on the verge of self destruction
As humankind devours human kindness
In missions bereft of conciliation construction
Which rebuilds and fields flowers of happiness.
The world withers amid self deceit
When humankind withholds warmth
Preferring to promote self conceit
In the midst of love and laughter dearth.
The world impoverishes dishes
Teeming with understanding and empathy
As humankind extinguishes species of fishes
Whose bowels and vowels spell sympathy.
The world teeters within an ace of insanity
When technology metamorphoses into a weapon
Primed to wreak fabrics woven in human dignity
Disintegrate as revenue at all costs becomes the only business reason.

it is exactly those people,
..those oblivious of my struggle
that mumble the most
they know nothing from my trouble
yet they condemn me while taking toast
precisely them that see nothing
claim to see_but like spoilt binoculars
they see nothing
they look at me on the outside
and forget solely that a lot lies within
bursting out inside
when the ugly ones think they are better of
saying to themselves..oh! i live a better life
i laugh in their self deceit
because though i strife
i am strong, they cannot take a rest on my seat
mute! i would say mute
say only things that are merry to me
don't push me because i could shoot
at the end your fool and lowly
why would others use their holes to sadden
your either my blessing or your curse
because i choose to be gladdened
i laugh ha ha ha
to your assumptions,i take it to be your nurse
so i throw away my worries and sing la la la
i then have an advice to you
as a matter of fact
mute! i say mute! if all you have to say is glommy
don't throw your assumptions in my tract

life was given to me sarcastically;
now i wade the swamps of doubt
in search of something steadfast
to rest on.
life was given to me as a wound
that every birthday bleeds afresh;
i try to bind it with rags,
i try to cauterize it,
and i have considered amputation;
life is weird and mysterious,
i burned myself on gods' stove -
now i try to alm the burning sensation
with the aloe vera of self-deceit.
life was given to me as a wound
- suicide has not yet
permitted me to make
that wound a healing scar.

A ripe body of Adolescence, nuzzled by beauty
on which hair is polished by crystals and sapphire
but lacks in the garrison of virtues and patriotism
becoming blind to the significance of its own felicity.
So gullible is its owner, that Dorian Gray is her preferred suitor,
so false are her choices like bringing Tilapia to Canada to strive.
Protracted human disasters have not altered her Oestrus
yet barren even with the plethora of fertile males
she's an ignorant keeper and owner of a unique talisman
causing a huge surveillance from selfish sugar daddies.
In the midst of her turmoil, she stays ludic
inflicted with so much pain but cry so rhapsodic.
Swimming with the fast in pretentious avocation
entertaining in self deceit, through every dulcet move.
Well formed mouth without a beak and limbs with soft knees;
her metamorphosis should be complete, yet a chrysalis she remains.
A complete turnaround requires an economic Hasidism
for the existing gross mediocrity to be evanescent
then refined existence in juxtaposition between an idyllic present
to a radiant future would be once again fully established.
