Premium MemberThe Sagacious Grandeur of Autumn

In autumn's reign, vales of verdure turn gold,
Fallen leaves tell the tale of life's revise,
Brown branches lie bare; trees are brave and bold,
Resilient dryads, keening to surmise.

The frost-kissed morns, a gentle wake-up call,
Reveal the strength in nature's cyclic change.
Upon strange winds, we find the lesson's thrall:
Adaptation, in every rearrange.

Harvest plenilune rising in the night,
Illuminating paths of sage return,
Through this bright arc, we see the world aright,
Each fall divulging, lessons yet to learn.

Attune your attent to autumn's dressed stage,
Unveil the gilt crown, of wisdom of age.

The Sagacious Ancient One

Oh ye tortoise
The longest living land animals in the world
You who bear the weight of the world on your back and yet walks with a palatial gait
From your hovel, you watched the hills and valleys mate
The oceans and seas retreat
Large four legged beast extinct
And smaller two legged emanate
Oh ye tortoise
You who walk slowly but never afraid of a race
You who feel safe and protected in its own house
You who walk on your toes like an elephant
Discerning with your eyes almost like it's squinting
Oh ye tortoise
One of the world most amazing diggers
With front legs armoured with sturby scales
Adorned with your clandestine ears
Carvernous bladder like a cauldron
And brawny beak for shredding and grinding foods
For decades, you epitomized wisdom and cunningness
Unchanged since prehistoric times
Misconstrued for turtles
Still men can't seem to decipher your morphology.

Sagacious Steps To Enlightenment

Put aside all the worthless pride,
reawaken a conscience that's dormant;
adapt a concept that unites, not divide!

Chiding never scolds the faults implied,
the dark side can't be hidden internally;
no honor is given to the weeping bride!

How noble is it to declare untold truths with a fiddle,
liberating it from the abyss it was entrapped;
virtuousness is defined by a loyalty so irrefragable!

No valid answer is given to impertinent questions,
it's wiser to avoid goons than agree with them;
anger is the rage that boils only in wrathful souls!

Not listening is avoiding the philosophy of the learned,
crucible failures could have been avoided with shrewdness;
who revels now: the triumphant or the humiliated?

Absence of guidance, in the form of spirituality,
is harmful and deranges the character of the obstinate;
their fallacious temperament equals stupidity!

Commitment to strides is not fiddling with the hallow brain,
vanquish the erroneous thoughts and breathe easily;
defeat is not the final reminder that victory is hard to attain!
