I Can'T

Let me tell you about suffering
wrapped in happiness
though that happiness is not mine.

When I imagined your smile
I'm the happiest one for you..

A few days after long weeks
I haven't seen any light
that brings me happiness
among them is to want
to see you.

You're like a flower
that I can only see from afar
to pick you
when your petals
start to bloom
I can't.

Sabah Al-Khair

The sky unfolded
Strewn with color
From royal red to violet
As far as the eye could see
Standing upon the beach
Waves crashing, sinking into sand
Euphoria and delight fill my heart
Such exquisite music
Feeling pure and free
A refugee before the shining sea
Garbed in white
The sun peeks at me
A blushing sphere
My one true love
I hold my arms open
And the sun rises higher
The untold verses strech before me
Etched in the morning sky
Where I see colors fading to blue
No longer shall I live in fear
Tears fall from my eyes and I murmur,
"Sabah al-khair."

Jabidah Peace Garden

Who died are the Sulus
not the so called Moros
They were the recruits
Were killed when refused

Sabah were to invade
They refused to take orders
Sacrificed not to kill brothers
Jabidah Massacre bolted

Jabidah Peace Garden
the name should be penned
part of the history and genuine
not to distort its tale

Not supposed ourselves
Supposed not to hide it
The truth of the fate
Shall come to take the lead

It is nice to be recognized
An honor was made
But think of the truth
A sincere hearts we should

We cried, laughed and proud
From the Mindanao plain
from the valley mountains
and from the breeze of Sulu currents.

Tale From a Woman's Name

It was started at the dawn
They are slain and gunned down
Deceived, promised and conned
From the islands they belong

They are in a special unit
Never wanted to submit
When they asked to commit
To kill and aimed Sabah to take

From a beautiful woman they're named
Became known as Jabidah Massacre
One survived that said the tale
Their lives were fought honor to reclaim

They ignited the battlecry
Thousands lives stick to die
The enemies have made a try
Until today their pride is high!

I love you peace. Let's sail together. Layag Sug!

Hero of Sabah

I can't imagine
He hiked the mountains
He crossed the rivers
And traverse the forest
He defended Sabah
He was killed after years
His years of keeping a nation’s pride
His was anti colonial government
Never had he found a word to surrender
But never to deny his Suluk blood
Fighting along with Dusun and Bajau
In his honor I am proud
The freedom of his land he is understood
Stand the hero of Sabah
You are forever in our heart
Your blood grew our spirit to fight
We are freemen with your cause
Datu Paduka Mat Salleh
You are in our memory!

Memories of Jabidah

They are recruited
for Operation
Merdeka,
trained to kill
their brethrens

Aware that is to
attack Sabah

They refused!

They were killed and
tortured
on the island named
Corregidor

That event inscribed
as Jabidah Massacre
then reported on 18
March 1968

Willingly sacrificed
their lives to avoid
use
on attacking Sabah
on the order of the
Philippines

Indeed,
their sacrifice
shall not be a
waste!

That Nothingness Exists

It is in heaven I shall live forever
the earth is my floor
and the sky is my canopy
it sends the rains to make rivers
to water me and grow me plants
for a simple sustenance
and for me a bountiful food

I do not meanly the falsehood
and concealing the truth
I do not create mischief
and trouble in my homeland
I am created from nothing
and nothing is me
and that me is secret to itself

A secret that Allah kept to discover
where I shall believe is true
nothingness is only seen from nothing
that nothing exists to prove I am nothing
that nothingness exists
in my existence it is indeed nothing
I do exist as nothing.

As I shall always need to believe
that my life would be restored
it is upon my life’s death
that Allah will teach me what I do not know
He will teach me who knows nothing
that nothing is indeed me
and without Him I really mean nothing!

Train My Love

Train my love oh train my love.
My train doesn’t flame.
It burns deeply inside.
In my heart I am happy.

Train my love oh train my love.
Your coach swings.
Swing by concussion.

Train my love oh train my love.
Train my love.
Continue your services.
Oh train my love.
Train my love!

Children of People

The people at the early days
Fighting the foreign enemies
Blood spills never they are ceased
Until the death comes and they are still alive

The people in time is practicing Islam
Fighting in the field with no hiding arm
Even the bitter bullets still sweet like sugar
The tears run telling never in denial

The people never lost in the language
Until the fall of the power of the world
The rise of the children of people
The power of the country will get back once more!

Freedom Is Here, I Am Flying

I’ll be back, I am flying
I will finish that book soon, as long I will stick to it
I will pray for me, arranging the thought, I wanted to make it a novel
So it will flourish and become something I can
Not an academic cultural studies, be proud of and fun read

Yes definitely, I like these lines, perfect this part is awesome
I like most, yes it has irony and it is witty
The words play a good sound in the ear I think so?
Yes indeed I lovet so much, writing should be read aloud
I do know what does it mean so when it plays a good sound?

Then its art in itself, ah lovely for me its weakness
But it does able or is not able to do what it should
Wings’ existing to me it is saying that
No matter how I have the means to do something
If that something is not able to do what it should do?
Then freedom is not there!

Tausug Bravery: What More To Prove

There is nothing to prove
in terms of bravery of the Tauusg.
The Tausug has been proven brave.
What more to prove?
It is our desire to still take the step
of the original cause for independence
To prove our bravery
to shout in any wall in the facebook
will not bring Tausug anywhere.
So Let Us All Save Peace,
Insha Allah it will bring the Tausug somewhere.
Wallahu Alam

My Book Is Fine

My book is fine
It’s okay to write one time
I am working on it every time
I have the happy working time
Taking care the lines of mind
I give my ideas
I am making myself laugh
I know that is not good enough
Yes, for the easy read to spot
An encouragement to part
A poem that help inspire me to write
It’s a good poem I like
When I discover a new way to something
To express myself of many thing
I become at peace with what I am writing
For I am doing less struggling
Indeed my book is fine!

Write Some Today

Make writing as a habit and addiction
Not just a hobby
Indeed you can gather more stories of your life
By simply writing it every day
When time passes by
Your stories would become something valuable
Than pieces of diamond
Remember everything comes from nothing
That later became something.
So don’t forget to write –
Don’t forget to write some today!

Book: My Personal Talk

So people would love to read
Because if it’s easy read
It’s a loving read
Like a novel but history
That’s why simply
Like a novel but personal story
It’s the key to getting the audience say
Yes absolutely the right way
I am reading the books
So that’s the key to it
I will try to have a good book
And I wanted to make one note
The book is my personal talk

This Poem Is You

What?
Read that
Aw, made me blush
You didn’t got my way to write a poem
Same thing I did to Lontie
That’s why I kept on asking you
Read here
Sulu Sail there
Indeed, you read it?
Yes, you know what?
I don’t know, what is it
You know the entire time that I was mocking you
And yet you still have cornered me with your charm.
What do you think of that poem?
Charming, you really know your way to my heart no?
I love the poem I wrote because someone is inside it.
Was there any poem you have written without anyone in it?
Yes, but in this poem is only you is that someone
One poem of me then
Indeed this is the poem for you
Who has the most numbers of poems who have written about?
I mean, you have written about
No one except my life and journey
And right now this poem is you
What contains in my poems is my journey in life
But personified by moment
So to whom is that ilyimy line then?
Iloveyouimissyou that is for you!
Go, you're a flirt!
Isn’t it cute?
Lost for words as always
What do you mean?
No one has ever written a poem about me, but you.
My pleasure!
