Love Deep with a rose

Loving you like the wind, blowing
Through my mind like a melody
The tune mesmerizing like that of hues
Too the rays shine without calamity

My precious mind thoughts lingering
I see a ponder over thus thee reality
Picking up posies - smelling the roses
It's in the air - I too then breathe
Creativity

Puts a damper on a soul indeed
When you are full of broken promises
I adored what we had it flattered me
I am infatuated but it too blemishes

Waking each dew morn - I drink the water
My mind breathing in and clear inside
Dreams often shatter upon awake
My arms I seek for opportunity of wide

The hues of the rays yes mesmerized me Melodies created to the beat of the cleft
Picking up the posies - smelling the roses
Is exactly only that, that I have left.

My Red Rose

A love so sweet,
It’s like you’re given a red rose.
The nice scent,
bringing you calmness.
The lovely red color,
bringing you joy.
The beautiful sight the flower gives,
bringing you happiness.
You are my red rose.
You bring me peace,
you bring me joy,
you bring me happiness,
and you make me love you even more,
than I did the day before.

Premium MemberReturn of Jordan

A boy named Jordan was an unchurched kid,
fond of red roses in the garden green,
enjoyed mischievous things he always did.
As Bible School helper he was last seen.

The local church gets a cardinal new,
with passion, of the garden he takes care,
moves around in Zucchetto of red hue,
caresses red roses abloom with flair.

He says red roses blossom for the Lord,
tending them condones all the childhood sins,
he committed that many didn’t accord.
He feels for him a new journey begins.

After many years tracing the known track,
as a cardinal Jordan has come back.

Premium MemberThis Poem Rose - Mr

There is someone who's placed a rose,
The rose inside my heart,
My love for him blossoms and grows,
For he's so sweet and smart,

Each day he tries out antics new
To gain our attention,
With him around, one can't be blue,
His love's no pretension,

This rose within my heart's for him,
Blooming brighter each day,
He makes me laugh when I am grim,
And troubles melt away,

He was little, but now grown tall,
Never knew how time flew,
For him, this poem rose, I scrawl,
For my loving nephew.

The Cardinal and the Rose

Fate brought them together,
Purpose was their binder,
His oath took them apart,
It was a harrowing mission,
He had seen the vision,
He was told that it was a prophecy,
One he had to fulfil,
A tempest he had to still,
He journeyed with her to redemption,
They sojourned until completion,
It was a near-death experience,
They fought the monsters and prevailed,
They triumphed against the invisible,
He battled the last assailant,
He won but died,
She held him and cried,
Her good night kiss woke him up,
Her love for him stayed with her,
Though far and apart he still sees her,
In his mind and dreams.

Heartless Liar

You know, I got the secret meaning,
My eyes have been opened to all your deeds.
I just used to push the thought away,
That there is no love and the nightingales are silent.

All your web of lies is revealed,
And I'm sorry I was stupid.
I don't need your protection anymore
And let me be like a rose without a thorn.

You took everything from me,
And there is nothing left of my soul!
I don't even remember what we were like,
How we lived and loved before all this.

You laugh and say: «Hysterical».
Do you really think I'll forgive you?
I broke like an old, thin match,
But don't worry, I won't get back at you.

With a light heart I let you go,
Be alone with yourself.
You can't imagine what it is
A life of silence awaits you.

I'll just move on
I'll forget everything you said
I'll forget about a life full of lies
And I'll just be happy that I have the strength.

The Red Rose

He bought me a rose today!
Beautiful red rose was his daily routine.
I expected the red rose every day,
that this man loves me , is what it means.
Despite his angry tantrums
where he would curse me, spit
& even choke me until I couldn't breathe
or viciously beat me, kick me
until I crumbled to my knees.
He would bring me a red rose after,
& tell me it would never happen again
and even though I know it was a huge lie
I know it didn't take away the love I had for him.
I didn't want it to end.
He would hurt me continuously
and even hurt me in front of my friend
who would always encourage me to get away from him
but his actions I would always defend.
I just waited for that red rose.
It made me feel like everything would be okay,
I mean, nobody is perfect. Right?
Isn't that what people say?
That red rose meant he loved me
and you may wonder what I said lovED
because now I'm watching him bring me a red rose,
lay it on my casket, from above.
I'm hearing him tell me sorry,
as I watch the tears fall softly from his face.
I forgive him, I know he loves me
because he brought me a beautiful red rose today!

Blue Rose Bush

Roses are roses
That don't naturally come in blue
Maybe a rose is a rose yet
Roses are red, violets are blue
Looking a little blue myself today
Thinking of roses enjoying the scenery,
I come upon a rose bush
It was far from blue, I smiled
Trios of natural colors, pink, red and yellow rose bushes
Beautifully line up by the sidewalk lasted a minute vividly
My mind was starting to play tricks on me again
The rose bushes were turning blue right before my eyes
Roses are red, violets are blue
A rose is a rose
But on a blue day maybe roses are blue for a sec
I sniffed the blue rose bush with a lot on my mind
I lift my head back up and the rose turned red again
I smile and carried on away from the blue rose bush

Rudolph the Red Rose Reindeer

Rudolph Reindeer with a red nose
Had a drinking problem they say
That is why his nose was so red
But it came to a head one day

Because of all his hard drinking
Rudolph lost his license to fly
With nothing left for him to do
He threw up his hooves and yelled, "Whyyy!"

Rudolph had an intervention
He quit but his nose was not bright
So Santa had to use FedEx
Since toys must be there over night!

He wore roses in his antlers
To bring everyone good cheer
Selling rides for a buck an elf
He soon was reindeer of the year!

Now it was the elves that loved him,
As they shouted out with much fun,
"Rudolph the red rose reindeer,"
"You're still a historical one!"

Premium MemberThe Rose In My Hand

I hold a rose in my waiting hand,
it feels alive and soft and light as air;
and I weep for him in a new land,
far off past the clouds- a place fair.
Our love was like this rose so fresh and new,
then, he was gone-   his bloom now grows above;
all I have left is a rose wet with death's dew,
and sweet, sweet thoughts of him to ever love.
I stand and weep- then, rose changes slowly,
his soft petals wither and fall, he fades;
I fall upon my knees with words holy,
his bright crimson, now gone to inky shades.
Dark wine, berry, raisin stained he fades, to dead,
my love is gone- in life his petals were bright red.

She can make anything look more than amazing behind her smile

Guess that’s why she hides the pain so well

Believing she is all alone in the world with no one to save her

She says I know, I know, I know to hide ignorance

Always asking the world why

When the answers reside beneath her pride

Always in her feelings but doesn’t know what she’s feeling

And everyone else is constantly telling her what they know

Trying to help a dying soul with broken hands

Where is the confidence

Does anybody ever know

She says I know you will say you understand but how can you

You haven’t seen the pain in my heart bleeding through my skin

All she wanted was his attention, his eyes looking her way, his hands protecting her, her foot prints left in his mind, and a love with no ceilings

He seemed to want everything else

p.s. she cried her last tear waiting for him to change…

Halloween and the Yellow Rose

The day my mother was taken from me 'Halloween'
fifty she had just turned the golden years she so much yearned

Left partially in a river her body broken and bruised
hidden from sight alone on a many twilight

Painfully I searched for days to weeks and on
knowing a homicide had occurred in the early morning dawn

A man in a drug induced state with no heart of grace 'Winsette' his name
has left me with a lifelong of memory and pain

At times in my heart for him I would wish to destroy
all the evil thoughts for him I felt I would enjoy

But I have learned to forgive so I could liberate my soul
even though he now walks the streets on parole

So on Halloween night there is no candy to give
only a memory of a mother I have lost instead

As I take the long walk to my mother's headstone
I lay a single yellow rose and a sweet candy kiss upon her head.

Tears of a Rose

Like a Rose without Petals,
Or Trees without Leafs
My Heart is Empty without My Beloved
I call out for Him
But the echoes
Ring back to my mind
Lost in the silence of despair
The tears flow like a river
Will they reach him, or continue to flood my Heart

Premium MemberThe Bloom Fell Off the Rose

It was to last forever.
But the Bloom fell off the Rose.
It started great, however, the Bloom fell off the Rose.

It shouldn't have started, but it did
And the Bloom fell off the Rose.

Now she is brokenhearted
for the Bloom fell off the Rose
He too has since departed
while the Bloom falls off the Rose.

Rose In the Summer

A love had suddenly bloomed;
In the summer
It had come to soon

Made from the reddest petals;
It had its beauty
But was something typical

How time grew the thorns;
What exists
Must be ended, love forlorn

The Rose had then wilted;
Love carried by the wind
As summer had finally ended
