Return of Jordan

A boy named Jordan was an unchurched kid,
fond of red roses in the garden green,
enjoyed mischievous things he always did.
As Bible School helper he was last seen.

The local church gets a cardinal new,
with passion, of the garden he takes care,
moves around in Zucchetto of red hue,
caresses red roses abloom with flair.

He says red roses blossom for the Lord,
tending them condones all the childhood sins,
he committed that many didn’t accord.
He feels for him a new journey begins.

After many years tracing the known track,
as a cardinal Jordan has come back.
