Gleaming golden ball revealing pines
Dark silhouettes against the jet-streaked sky
Roosters crow the sun up as doves coo refrain
Life seems simple salubrious as fledglings fly
That ole woodpecker rivets once again
What a way to live his simple savory time here
I often wonder how his sturdy head survives
From one oak tree and then to over there
He has moved, his riveting continues
I wonder if he finds food, is that why
He in that tree lingers, do night owls cringe
Wanting to screech, spread silky wings and fly
The cool of the morning feels so spot-on and dry
Soon strong sunny star will drive us inside
Seems simmering summer arrived early
Here's hoping it doesn't hang-on and abide

One must never fail to admire the passing parade of dainty shrews. With daisy caps they dance and dance. Protruding suits of pompous porpoise is to be ignored. And cantering is best performed by bees. Merely nonsensical wisdom of 293 willow beams. Have a jug of tea and a giggle. For at times of great peril laughter is the best form of armour for the soul. When I’m wearing jeans with rivets,
Which is like a fashion thing,
Does the fact I’m wearing rivets
Make me much more riveting?
I suspect the answer’s equal
To the men all sporting studs.
Sometimes thoughts that feel like firecrackers
Turn out to be duds.
Absolutely sapped out
I will unfurl
my flag today.
It was a raw wound
of nuanced statements in dark
when the moon fell in lake.
Talking to butterflies
as I take on the genre
of brainstormed hibiscuses.
It rained again in my
courtyard, wetting the
marbles and my eyes.
Take away the roof from
over my head. I have
come to meet the frozen tears.
The enormous guilt now
haunts the vacant eyes, why I didnot
accept the voluptuous breast of death.
