Premium MemberAll Her Fantasies -- Retitled

She warned me that I'd best obey
My daughter always has her way

When I say 'No,' she stomps and pouts
Then calls her friends to cuss me out

I don't know why she acts so mean
'Cos I fulfill her every dream

With the latest in tech and stylish clothes
   She's a 'fashionista' head-to-toe...

She's realized all her fantasies ~
Except for getting rid of me

Premium MemberWinners Vs Losers -Revised and Retitled

Falling deep, Sam did not even pout.

In a dirt hole he could not get out.

Then a thought came to him,

and it was not so grim.

He formed stairs from the dirt –escape route!

Also Sam's friend got stuck in a hole.

He was helpless as Sam, yet the role

that he played was to sit,

and with no thought to it.

Quitters need to determine a goal!

(At the suggestion of a fellow poet, I decided to add on a second
limerick, which I hope is ok to do. This poet thought I should write
about the other man in the cartoon!)

Premium MemberA Young Man's Kiss - Retitled

She skipped across the rainy day
Tucked in her raincoat, a secret lay

A young man's kiss had tickled her heart
   She'd shyly smiled ~ True love's start

I Don'T Believe Retitled

I don't believe in no bad man thing,
No bling bling or shallow thinking,
No skulduggery, artificiality , and red-nosed vanity
I believe in the brain man thing,
Yes, the one without the bling,
The one with real seasoning,
real artical reasonig
Where we devise concepts and hatch plans
to improve situations
to guide the young ones
We have the foolish,
guiding the youths
with brainless profanities
obstructing the truth
In all our endeavours
its a plain fact
that if we study hard,
work hard , we can get the lot
Peace of mind, with a clean heart
deflecting the ravages of brainless acts
In the calmness of your sanctuary,
seek the divine
In foolish thoughts evil deeds are done
But with a trained mind, its you daily weapon

Storm and Calm Retitled

How many times the storm
The rage and the anger
Driveth fire within
Burn!!
Brimstone fragments the heart
Torn in the turbulence of time
To hell with all schemes
Wanton forward the stumble
In victory of bloody lust
Crave the inner servant of desire
Random thoughts, random mind
The explosion from within
The dept of fresher thinking
Source of light, the joy of sharing
Slowly, slowing down
Lift up your eyes and behold
The everyday tedium of reality
The fullness, quality and diversity of life.

Soldiers of the Maze Retitled

There was a calm before the storm
 A dark depth of tranquility
 Feasting on forward contemplation
Fulfilling roles of an earthly kingdom
Then the alarm of advancing troops
 With an avowed intent,
 Exterminate.
  Rise, Rise, on the move
We are in trouble, Bail out!
Then a thud, a roar, and a tremor.
 Onwards soldiers, raise your rifles
On the warpath, get in line
 No time, no time!
Scurry little soldiers of the maze
Be angry, get mad
Swarm, swoop, devour the prey
And where ever he dies, let him lay.
 Now the scurry,now the rush
Panic station, teeth gnash
Pierce the skin, drink the blood
 Look to the heavens,
 look to the gods
Least we be crushed
Buried in the sand
Be it our destiny, made by design
Or calamitous collusion of an ill fated time
But whatever the story based in a lyrical line.
You have just stumble on
An hornets nest.
