Relentless Time

When very young, we blindly may dismiss
Our elders’ admonitions about Time,
Or future grief or pain, for in that bliss
Who recks of illness, death, mischance, or crime?

And in our prime, with life’s distracting needs,
With open, seeing eyes, we still are blind:
We go our ways, and yet, while Time proceeds,
The passing hours are rarely brought to mind.

But when we're spared into our elder years,
We recognize the truth we used to mock:
That whether youth was fraught with joy or tears,
There is no hope of winding back the clock.

Use well the days, because with every breath,
Relentless Time will sweep us all toward death.

Life Dance

For he who has not folded in his arms
A skeleton, nor fed on graveyard charms,
Recks not of furbelow, or paint, or scent,
When Horror comes the way that Beauty went.
O irresistible, with flesh less face,
Say to these dancers in their dazzled race:
“Proud lovers with the paint above your bones,
Ye shall taste death, musk scented skeletons!
Withered dandies with plump faces,
Ye varnished cadavers, and grey Lovelaces,
Ye go to lands unknown and void of breath,
Drawn by the rumour of the Dance of Death.
all we know are the shards of time
slipping from our minds
standing on the edge,it fades like sand between withered hands
we bleed our youth
we will hear, when their hearts stop beating
she flutters like a brazen butterfly, the ink of our veins seep
flowing like the ocean, within her lies
my dear, to the moon and nether ties
the suicide red skyline
resides in her black eyes

On a Friend'ss Bier

Take the cloak from his face, and at first let the corpse do its worst!

Cover the face then cover the face now death has done all death can.

Absorbed in the new life he leads he recks not, he heeds.

Cover the face now the solemn and strange.

Death has done all death can then cover the face.

Cover the face then death has done all death can.

How he lies in his rights of a man!

Cover the face now death has done all death can.

The solemn and strange.

Cover the face then cover the face!

Death has done all death can.

Cover the face!

Getting burnt, Paper cuts, Ripping things apart
Fighting, Crying, My broken heart

Try not to think of the bad, But love all as one
That's all we can do in this world, under a glorious sun
