Premium MemberTrump's Wild Tango

One step back, two steps forward,
Swing around and do the dance,
Keep it fast, a little awkward
A whole world audience to entrance.

Now you've got them captivated
Up the tempo, raise the heat,
Some may need to be sedated
As they wither from your beat.

Hearts loud-pounding, foreheads thumping,
Gasping air among the shouts,
Doomsayers bleating, markets jumping,
Second guessing, full of doubts.

Quite the showman, what a show,
Media breathless wanting more,
Fans elated, bask in tow,
Others crowing, keeping score.

Just the start, watch him work,
Revelations by the day,
Not all true, surprises lurk,
Act with haste, keep foes at bay.

As for us enthralled spectators
Barely able to keep track,
Cajoled and pressed by paid narrators,
Every week a heart attack.

If we can but drown the chatter,
Keep a cool head, crack a smile,
Train our thoughts to things that matter,
Take the long view, wait a while.

Let the music work its magic,
His gyrations entertain,
Learn that life need not be tragic,
See the sunshine through the rain.

Premium MemberWhat am I - a Riddle

What am I?

I’m great fun and sometimes crazy,
Loud or soft with moods quite hazy,
Full of love, sorrow, unrequited loss,
One minute happy another sullen, cross.
I see the world in shades of neon gray,
Rarely do I care or anyone obey,
My vibes are epic, they constantly perplex,
Full of contradictions, invariably complex.
I can praise the Lord, drink myself into a stupor,
Stalking the room with unrequited humor.
Sex is my go-to, gentle or pulsating,
Not always happy, at times tearfully heartbreaking.
I know the secret to capture every heart,
Life would be intolerable by keeping me apart.
Whatever you may think this is no passing phase,
I'm known to be pervasive and hound your mind for days.
My moods are epic, a journey to discover,
Your friend to soothe you or belatedly recover.

Come on - What am I?

 Let hope blazons

children’s choir are gladly singing
spreading good news for all to cheer.

help the sick and typhoon victims
no matter how hard life may seem
pray, offer to God everything

Christmas Season
rejoice in joyful caregiving
let’s cooperate as a team
pray, offer to God everything
let hope blazons

Premium MemberLet Bygones Be Bygones - Edited

The past, when past is gone,
No amount of wishful thinking will bring it back,
In life, we must move on,
No use crying over memories and flashbacks;

Life is like a flower,
It can be enjoyed as long as it is present,
For soon it will wither,
Then nothing will remain except its fading scent;

Life's like a glass tumbler,
The broken pieces cannot be joined, once shattered,
We mustn't be a grumbler,
Rather, let go of the past and live unfettered;

Life’s like river water,
Once it goes and meets the sea, it does not turn back,
Leave the past to totter,
And reach forth to the future in this fast race track;

As life new attires dons,
Let’s face it with joy and try them on with gladness,
Let bygones be bygones,
Let’s leave behind the past, regrets, and all sadness.

I Love Osottanakorn and Your Goodwill

I
Head of the Rescue Operation gave it to the World
Quietly, a universal Operation for children
Who may play in the World Cup someday
A coach barely 25, who helped 12 survive
Yes, the Chiang Rai Cave Rescue has your name over it

II
So many churches prayed their hearts & soul
LORD knew I needed good news today, when HUURKOR
(Yes, a Octopus like Company renting flats in Africa
Wants to foreclose on property for HOA fees it failed to take)
So, like me, the world often waits for great news
LORD, thanks for not getting the UN & Charities in this

III
O the people left to themselves, without diplomacy
Pray for each other, each other's teams, countries
And Thai Navy man, Osottanakorn, was right, generous, light:
The people of the world made it THEIR LOVE OPERATION, 13 victories
More goals than in World Cup matches. Hearts were matched tight

Rakesh Rai, My Friend and Inspirer

Rakesh Rai is as sweet as sugar;
Whenever you are in deep anger
Go to Rakesh, Anti-hatemonger;
He never his duties did Malinger
He has been as sweet as sugar;
Soothes one down and is eager
To help whom problems appear.
I never found him an Ogre;
With him I always felt stronger
He can easily fight wildest tiger.
Problems does not persist longer
With him let it be old or younger.
With him tensions, no doubt, linger
A lot of worry and threats augur,
What use is Salad without vinegar;
Hard but useful is Rakesh like timber.
Rakesh sir is as sweet as sugar.
