This is a powerful, and brilliant, message in its own right, James. I love that first line in particular. Bewail is an awesome word. :) You're really good. I always have a great time reading your stuff. Always, Laura

Congrats on an amazing write, I broke a few brain cells just trying to do a simple double acrostic, and then you throw in a reverse acrostic to top it all off! That's just craaazy good!

Love the reverse of the end letters and the way you formatted your acrostic. Excellent work, James. I love this line which sums up your piece for me. "Tempestuous feelings of certainty dispel the disbelief. "

Congratulations, James, on your well-deserved podium win in this challenging contest. Your poem addresses the theme so well using this difficult form, and that's a nice twist with the reverse Acrostic on the right. Sandra

I'd get a headache trying to reverse it as well, James. Very clever. Regards, Viv

Hi Viv, thanks for the visit. I found it very curious that all three A's in "Self Actualization" are equal distance from the beginning of the phrase as from the end which means every line of the poem that begins with an A also ends with one when the right side is written upside down.

wow, you did it backwards up the other side. I was wondering what happened for a second. Very poetic, my friend. A beauty of an acrostic.
