Premium MemberToys

I came upon a windup toy.
He danced a jig to bring me joy
because I was feeling low.
My name is Pinocchio.
I'm no ordinary boy.

I told him I was made of wood,
He said that he understood.
The pleasure he could bring
radiated from a spring.
Soon, I was feeling good.

The sadness that his jig belies,
which I detected in his eyes,
was eased as friendship brings
a boy with puppet strings
in a plaything's disguise.

Nuclear War

The alpha males
stand at the precipice of power
each attempting to prove
They are the greatest

Resting on the backs of stupidity
a nuclear war
one percent chance
of total annihilation

of life on the planet
As we destroy
our ecological systems
ninety-nine percent

of the world dying
from nuclear radiation
and the direct impact of bombs,
bomb shelters become a prison

For those prepared
a haven for the last life on earth
But insect death from radiated crops
What do you come out to find

Without plants, do we have air?
Or do we become
Another barren planet
In an empty solar system

My first precious newborn

My first precious new born.
Today marks your 21 year old.
How times flies when it does not seem to be that long ago.
With pleasure, I welcomed you into my life.
With leisure, you have me a healthy and happy mind.
I remembered, with hard work around the clock,
The nurses, medical professions and the doctors
With their delicate and expert skill
You were delicately removed from my womb
You were cared for and lowered to the cradle.
They did a fantastic job at Royal Women's Hospital.
As soon as you were laid besides me in my bed
You quickly turned your little head
You misted my breaths one by one.
That was our first intimate, remarkable contact.
How soft and smooth the skin on your cheeks,
Your flesh breath radiated like sun rays in the sky.
I never cuddled anything like you before.
With joy and delight, my heart beat mingled
With the rhythm of you suckling on my nipples.

Eleanor Knightley

Previous nights were mellow and true –
Love had been tender,
Nights had never been blue –
Gentle as the dance, we swung
I hold Eleanor Knightley in my loving arms.

Crystals, amethyst and pearls she wore,
Around her neck diamonds were
Gold as her crown radiated with luminescence,
Extravagant as Egyptian Silk embraced her figure
Carelessly our bodies rhythmically swayed along.

“May I have this dance?”
I asked.
“Why certainly.”

Eleanor Knightley had manipulated my eyes –
Mesmerized by her flair and natural beauty
I am bewitched by the Madame's alluring charm.
As the night enclose –
I hold Eleanor Knightley so close –
Whisper the following words;

“The night may wilt, I say –
But the English rose blossoms foreverly.”

Premium MemberNocturnal Life

Trees slowly dance in the warm gentle wind.
Sighing, the breath of the sun bids goodnight again.

Promises of change echo in nature's heraldic beauty.
Gia calms the restless life to rest as it sleeps comfortably.

Longing shadows of the night stir an ancient whispering song.
Night’s life awakens with a magical call knowing it belongs.

Dead life is slowly claimed to fertilize this magnificent earth.
Giving New life nutrients as it draws from this enriched dirt.

Nocturnal animals arise and fly into the cool night.
Fireflies fly with a mesmerizing dance of beautiful light.

Slowly the Red moon rises over the rippling lake.
Bringing forth the reflection of blood in its wake.

Soon it rises high into the night of twinkling stars.
It radiated pure white light to be seen from afar.

Time passes and the life of the night starts to sleep
Sun greets Mother Earth embracing her for his to keep.

Premium MemberA man can stand on his own,

A Man Can Stand on His Own,

A man can stand on his own,
trusting in God alone.

No woman is his master,
as he knows unrestrained emotions spells disaster.

He threw off the lies women taught.
He took up a walking stick for a life of truth he sought.

And with hands for work he wrought,
God provided and a "wife of noble character" he brought.

She wasn't a whore, nor a woman of angry temper.
She didn't possess a running mouth of rumor.

Nor was she rebellious, irresponsible, or mean.
Neither reckless, unrestrained or obscene.

But she was his soul mate, made just for him,
as she was a woman of God, who radiated from within.

Her hands were never idle, and she provided for him,
and to her children and friends she could also provide for them.

She was humble, and kind.
She was patient in time.

So beautiful was she,
He gave all he possessed to her, gladly.

And they lived a Godly, joyful life together.
until God called them both where they can live, in heaven, forever.

Premium MemberIf Only For a Little While

And she splashed in the waves
like she was twelve.
Though she was now sixty-nine.
The sun shone down on her grey head
as she yelled " the water is fine !".
But it wasn't fine, it was damned cold
and she didn't mind it a bit.
And after she swam she found a great log,
the perfect spot to just sit.

So many years were now behind her,
so few were left ahead.
But frolicking here in the ocean waves
was the best of times she said.
The sun shone down and radiated
almost as brightly as her smile,
making her feel almost young again
if only for a little while.

a beautiful koel once lost its melodious voice
thus was unable to make a mating call
so it invoked divine magnetism
manifesting a bliss squall

birds from far and wide came
to be blessed by this silent sage
whose luminous aura radiated delight
‘twas clear its soul had turned a new page

Premium MemberBaptism Of Jesus

Asceticism and realism were embraced in baptism.
The era of waiting is gone. Emmanuel exists.
The spirit in him fluttered into doves of optimism.
Mercies fell amidst musing humanity like mild mists.

The graces with which he descended from the highest heavens
Radiated like a thousand moons. People stood perplexed.
The sun rose from all directions, against solar sessions.
Philosophies and theologies have become complexed

Does a ruby, sapphire, or topaz need a fire test?
Does the one who's born without sin need baptismal cleansing?
Designs, yet devised by destiny, need to be re-dressed.
Doesn't all disciplinary decay need dispensing?

He's the one who comes to take away the sins of the world.
By his ransom, the freedom of creatures will be unfurled.

Premium MemberEmbodying the light

which way should the tumbler fall
and what is it we need to discern
since we are but a humble receptor
enacting on stage role as directed

to the vast void we posed a question
is not free will dominion of the soul
whereas the ego is driven by instinct
presence recognising we are in stupor

our entreaty was absorbed existence
processed by omniscient intelligence
what was posed was a divine paradox
needing the nonexistent ego to awake

grace however is free from limitations
so instantly our form was transformed
God Himself held steady all energies
radiating the threefold flame of Christ

transcending opposites, as living light
toroidal heart radiated potent power
baptised in the stream of Holy Spirit
our form reflected God’s grace supreme

With arms wide open up towards His father
He did go
Summoning the angels, as they raised Him
He radiated earth, with afterglow !

Loving eyes once pierced
lie still,
instilled with Love and Over-Shine!
Fifty days of Pentecost,
and no, He never counted cost*
Holy flames of Faith upon their blessed heads
the consecrated flame of sweet anoint.
He rose and then He Reigned
King of all Kings from heaven's lair
A Father who deserves to be crowned
let us thank Him,
for we were lost
and now
we're found...

Libera

As the thorny vines that had me tangled up were torn
I felt a single tear roll down my cheek
I tasted the salt as more of them began to flow

As the weeds that crept up to destroy me were picked
I felt my whole body become overtaken with sobs
I gasped for breath as I realized I was still alive

As the branches that scratched and prodded were cut
I felt a new power arise in me as I stood
I was able to stand on my own and escape

As the feathers caressed me in a light embrace
I felt my arms open up
I felt them ache as I reached them to the sky

As the flower petals held and protected me
I felt myself fall into comfort
I knew I was finally safe

As the warmth of the sun shone and covered me in love
I felt myself being renewed as I basked in the light
I was free

The sun set and radiated its golden glow
I stood as a symbol of strength
A masterpiece of resilience, liberated and reborn.

Hidden Greenhouse

In her eyes alone
They radiated with light
When shone to another
No longer a beautiful sight
Why did they whither?
Not appreciated among many
And how it broke her heart
But she still watered them plenty
Locked away from the rest
They sat in wait
For a time and place
Where another may appear
For a moment of magic
Another face as dear
Other acceptable beauties were gazed upon
So why us locked away?
Other worthy ones were revered
So why do we rot and stay?
The flowers felt neglect
Even with nightly hugs
The flowers felt unsightly
Even with kisses and love
The flowers grew restless with envy
Once a vibrated greenhouse
Now a relic that's quite empty

He was a man of infinite wisdom,
A man with esoteric knowledge
And an alignment with nature.

So affable was he, his people
Cherished his presence whenever
He would roam amongst them.

A shy and timid man by nature,
But with the spirit of a warrior.

Humble in his ways, succinct
With his words. A highly honourable
Soul, that radiated through his eyes.

With his shining brow, he led the way.
Though his people loved him so,
He preferred solitude amongst
The trees and critters of all sorts.

Every person in his tribe, wished
To emulate his Being, but he never
Made them feel unworthy of his time.

He never spoke often, but would
Always listen to those around him
With great reverence and patience.

He would sometimes wander off
Into the woods for days at a time.
Always returning with gifts and
Depending on the season, he would
Also bring back food for all.

‘Til one day, he never returned to
The village. For he just kept on
Wandering farther away.

Some say he was a sacred vision,
Others say he went to pass away.
Whatever the case may be, this man
Was but a man who understood
“The Way.”

My insight into Taoism.

Our Nana

A V.I.P, Our Queen you see. There will never be anyone else quite like her.
Always dressed in her Absolute best, nothing more and nothing less.
Her absolute favourite was M&S.

Not a hair out of place, or lack of smile upon her face.
Everywhere she went, Our nana radiated beauty, elegance and grace.

Our Nana was a hero, Sweet but Stern,
Funny but Firm, Small and Mighty,
Terrific and Tiny.

A force to be reckoned with I think you would all agree, Zooming around with her frame Ever so hastily!
Throughout the years there were ups and downs, Our nana got up and straightened her crown.

An inner strength I most admired, Our nana's time came and she grew tired.
We tucked her in and said Goodnight, your wings are ready, you can stop this fight.
We will all be okay and take care of our Mum, go to Grandpa now Our nana, go and live another lifetime of fun.
