Is gold blossoming in each branch?
At the end of spring, they fill the ranch.
Smooth, pale, or greenish-grey, crusty barks
Bright yellow, drooping Sundrops fill the parks.
In pendulous racemes, the flowers hang
As though ornaments of spring, they span;
Pinnately complex leaves sway in boisterous
Though medicinal, these flowers are poisonous.
In beauty, she resembles the Indian bride.
In her, the yellow Wagtail seems unidentified.
Strived, thrived, and ultimately survived;
Aren't, yet, her glamour and splendour shortlived?

Winsome Wisteria Sonnet
Eden, open your ardent arms to grace
Wisteria's soft lilac petaled blooms
Draped stunningly about Spring’s sunny face
In softest shades of lavender like plumes.
Your aroma wafts heady in the breeze
When graceful racemes descend from above.
Divine as the frilling flowering trees
Your stunning sight captures my heart with love.
Goddess Venus must surely be aware
Of the glorious sight that you bestow
Like dainty dangling ringlets in Spring’s hair
As zephyrs sprinkle your petals below.
I am profoundly moved by your presence
And tranquilly transported with pleasance.

Late in fall, before the first freeze,
Flowers speckled the woodland paths.
Zebra long-wing butterflies wafted.
Red summer racemes bloomed on upright stems.
Bees and butterflies endured strong breezes.
Impassioned, life embraced every creature.
Squirrels and feline played tree top hide and seek.
Opossums and armadillos foraged.
Jaguarondis and owls slept until night.
Mother Nature held warmth beyond hopes.
When the temperatures dropped, icicles sparkled.
And farmers mended fences ‘till spring.

The ichneumon flies are out busy and alert, they have renewed fire, happiness in their veins,
Gossamer is seen in this season covering the grass with its films of silken cottony threads,
By the foot paths the common currant is beautiful with its pendant racemes still with flower,
In days long, long ago I could not have named but a handful of flowers, I can now name all.
But that did not matter, names are names only, if something warms your heart does it matter,
If you met a stranger and sat down talking would he be a better person if his name was known,
Some people I would trust with my life after few words others I know well, I would walk away,
Beautiful people roam this world, just to meet such a person, would enrich a lifetime forever.

You loom aesthetically divine…
Transporting me with your pleasance.
