Winsome Wisteria Eden open your arms to grace Wisteria's soft petaled blooms Draped stunningly about Spring’s face In shades of lavender like plumes. Your scent wafts heady in the breeze When racemes descend from above. Divine as the flowering trees Your sight captures my heart with love. Goddess Venus must be aware Of the glory that you bestow. Like dangling ringlets in Spring’s hair Wind sprinkles your petals below. When over the arbor you vine I'm deeply moved by your presence You loom aesthetically divine… Transporting me with your pleasance. 8-11-16 Each one of us has His or Her own Flower of Attraction - Poetry Contest Sponsor Rick Parise

No, it is not my home. I am not even sure if Wisteria will grow here in Hawaii because it may be too tropical for them. I think they like a bit more sub-tropical weather like they have in Sydney where I first saw the wisteria growing. Thank you for your nice comment Jo. I am heading for bed now. Nite :)

Thank you very much Lynn. In what part of the country do you live? It always stays warm here in Hawaii with about 10 degrees cooler in winter. I haven't seen wisteria growing here, I believe it is too warm. Blessings, Connie

Eden meaning the garden of pleasure. That second picture is astheticly surreal. Thanks for sharing the attraction in your writing of winsome wisteria.

Thank YOU Holly! I enjoyed writing this poem because there is just no flower more breathtaking that seeing these fragrant blooms hanging down from an arbor. It is an unforgettable sight. I first saw them in person in Sydney Australia. I wanted to hang out there all day! ; )
