The quiet before the rush.
What adventure waits
to be found?
Nothing is ever enough.
Can I decipher
happiness?
Forced to learn at record rates.
How much expertise
is retained?
Rereading words from the past.
Was it me who wrote
that poem?
Compassion, that is my curse.
Am I a smart car
or floor mat?
We gave them complete control.
Weren’t the tools designed
to be used?
I feel a bit unstable.
Got a pen to write
about it?
The nights that did not end right.
Why are those what we
remember?
We must educate ourselves.
Could we ever trust
the system?
Learned me from the inside out.
Can you write my soul
like I can?
Money does not exist now.
Are you still going
to work hard?
I can be rather crazy.
For me will your wild
be enough?
You think she plays like a kid.
Her belly laugh’s rare,
why tear it?
You said ‘Dream but get things done.’
Why can’t you take your
own advice?
You have lit a fire in my hearth.
Why do I have to
take you home?
