Fulcrum Of A Rose

Line of Inquiry
 - track where lies the fulcrum of the fragrance of a rose, then likewise find within, your soul.


People murmured, she’s the rose among the thorns
When they saw me playing with my brothers, not alone
Same line was heard more often around
When I raced with little boys, just to get a crown.

Then, I always sang the prayer song of my mother
Asking God to make me grow and bloom like flower
I felt God’s abundant care as my bud bloomed
Into a rose in my community started from home.

As first child and single rose who’d dawned so early
Petals’ exquisite hue displayed more prominently
As floral leaf burgeoned, sprawled... satiated their eyes
My doubt on fragrance, can they smell or feel me inside?

Then, I sang my own prayer song with fervor in my room
Asking God to help me track, diffuse my fragrance’s fulcrum
After a  while, I felt God’s unceasing light and reply:
My child, my love's generosity with joy's in your soul, shine, emit, fly.

I AM OF HE SPOKEN FORTH CARETAKER OF THIS EARTH-

Just a place to be
 prominently
 the premise
 is such a mess
 disarray such a man
 contracted testament
I am a picture in His plan
I am my Father’s voice
Set to words 
caretaker of this earth

The Classic Look of Despondency

On Super Bowl Night, there was no joy in Kansas City.
Nearly all Chiefs fans were overwhelmed with despondency.
The tight end for the team was Travis Kelce.
His face prominently displayed utter melancholy.
As the Eagles powered their way and ran up the score,
Travis looked like a little boy lost in a department store.
His teammates all appeared to be feeling the same way,
as the Eagles held up the Lombardi trophy for display.
The game played in New Orleans was over and done.
Their plane flight home could not have been a cheerful one.

tulips greet their queen

Queen of tulips strode in to look over her fields one day
the verdent green background was prominently on display
an army of yellow tulips was nodding happily her way
orange tall flowers graciously greeted her, our Queen named McKay.

The Rain is a Melody

Tune by tune -The rain splashes
Splash after splash trickling down
The puffiness in the clouds the darken
With tranquility becoming me
I hear it's consistency and I see it
The raindrops everlasting in my mind
Brilliantly it's like a Melody
And it's signing a tune in my head
And the rain it challenges me instead
With the breathtaking beautiful sunny skies
Inspiring me and thus soon in time
They flood my id and thoughts
And I am truly loving inspiration
Of the conspiracy of our God
I see the beauty within and I reckon
This will be the day new born
I am knowing in my heart adoration
That as the earth miraculously nourishes
My beauteous garden will then grow
And with Gods national wonders
Bewildered - I then got to know
That as the rain dances like a tune
The flowers enhances boldly to the eye
And this rainy day , coming from our sky
I say blooms with personality
So the buds singing prominently in the rain
Against the silent window pane
And thus this beautiful reflection
Sings a tune , tune by tune ,my way
Bursting the beauty of a flower
With God the rain and it's power
What a beautiful song today.....

faithful worshippers

Sunday Morning Suit

He’s a Sunday Morning Christian
Sitting prominently in his pew, 
On the  other six days of the week
He exploits folk like me and you.
From his position of privilege,
Where he’s never known any need,
He accuses the low paid worker
Of striking out of avarice and greed,
Thinks there’s something wrong
With their concept of work.
Instead of being grateful 
They only whinge and shirk.
The service being over and 
His contribution being made,
His conscience newly clear,
His lip service being paid,
He puts away his Christianity
Until this time next week
To continues his exploitation
Of the sad the poor the weak.
Suddenly it’s next Sunday,
Another eventful week gone,
This Sunday morning Christian
Puts his Sunday morning suit on.

Black Sheep To Goat

Black sheep to goat
Pull out a pen & pad and please take note
But make sure the pad is thick and the pen is filled with ink
'Cause I have a truckload of information that'll make you think
This tale is not for the faint of heart
The clandestine dealings behind the veil from the very start
Who would've thought the main character would be little ol' me?
Yes. Little humble me, the black sheep of the family
Quiet vitriol figured prominently in the familial landscape
I thought it was about giving,  receiving, and showing love, but I realized I had to escape
Run, yes, run to my beautiful destiny
Away, far away from dark energy
I pondered as I wandered... just reeling
Why or How could this be while I licked my wounds, waiting for healing?
But as I looked within for refuge and solace
Edifying messages from ancestral guides kept whispering, "You got this; now keep the promise."
So, the promise I shall humbly keep
Today I am the goat; gone is the day of the black sheep

Emotion a Freed Verse

  ethereal
in style
seductive
  visions
in
secluded
 patinas

disconnects
 in balance
a sanctum
of spiritual
resonance

delicate
aspirants
 storm
ijtegrity
&
complicate

Underberg the Drinkers Friend

Brewed from a secret recipe
Nearly two hundred years old
Guarded by the family
Almost valuable as gold.
Using aromatic herbs from
Forty three different Nations
Gathered and despatched
From their various locations.

Distilled in Rheinberg 
Forty four percent ABV
Guaranteed pure and
Contamination free.
Bottled labelled wrapped
in distinctive brown twist
Placed prominently by the bar
Where it just can’t be missed.

This miraculous infusion, 
This  real drinkers friend, 
Has brought many a hangover
To a warm and pleasant  end.
Very soon after ingesting
The upset is gone
And so for the dedicated
The drinking carries on.

For services to humanity,
For keeping drinking folk alive,
For all their essential work
May FamilyUnderberg thrive.
I can’t understand why
Much to my surprise 
They have never ever been 
Granted a Nobel Peace Prize

Lacrees a Princess Frog

Her exquisite lace linen collar tiered in layers of dainty threes
Was not the only beautifying feature of Princess LaCrees
Her beetle necklace of green peridot was engraved well
Her monocle was designed by Bob Mackie’s protégé, Snell.
She was the ultimate spring peeper croaker.
We saw by her wardrobe, she was a leap frogging bloaker.

Prominently featured on her front was a darling topaz roach broach.
It was the kind of semi jewel that would never have to  ride in coach.
Princess LaCrees knew to top off her flashy outfit with a favored crown.
Orange crushed velvet puff ball at the top, it was a coppery light brown.
She is dazzling, a jumper among the reeds, the best of the best.
Ribbit Ribbit she shouts, her head a big crest.

Don’t you get hungry wearing all of those bugs? Asked Lady in Waiting.
Not really, the princess answered, as her maids began the uncrating.
Grasshoppers, ants, beetles, and lady bugs were scattering all around.
She stabbed and ate them all with her wand, without making a sound.

I have a mouth, 
but why talk;
Take the boots off;
Still I walk close;
My mouth still I talk;
 I have eyes to see it with;
Use of my hand with that pen I write;

 and as I stand motionless;
Barefooted eyes closed in the dark;
Hand still covering mouth;
 I mumble I moan this I do as I balk;
