The Jewel Of Jesus

How can the lover of the downtrodden have a favorite?
The dichotomy of Jesus’ choosing is like an enigmatic wavelet.
To become a jewel of Christ takes more than a confession.
One must let go of the earth to reach His heaven.
One must gain faith which requires humility of highest order.
His jewels are unafraid of life’s inevitable disorder.
And to believe that gain can come from complete loss.
Willing to tear down one’s own house and bear the cross.
Jesus’ jewels will give their last fish to another undeserving.
To fully commit to the unseen and to forgo self-serving.
Often being a downtrodden you have the edge.
Due to having little to lose when on the ledge.
Jesus often searches for His best Jewels in the dark.
Like Paul, who in the dark made his profoundest mark.

With sadness, that never ceased,
I watched your Father shot on live television.
I was living in Chicago and Elena, a baby
in my arms asleep.
Your Father, Robert had just won California
and “on to Chicago” was his mission.

Sirhan-Sirhan., anti-Isreal, pro-Palestinian ,
shot your father in the hotel’s kitchen, near dead.
I sat in Chicago, in tearful disbelief, and all I could
feel was profoundest grief!
Screaming crowds wept as deep crimson-
warm, blood seeped from your father’s head.

And here you are now with your lovely wife and
actress, Cheryl Hines, about to follow in your
Father’s footsteps!
Your voice may sound strange as you are
affected by spasmodic dysphonia.
I am just an extraordinary American because I
do not think one party is a religion whose
Ordinances must be obeyed and kept.

For anyone, who would like to see
Robert Kennedy Jr. Mon, October 9th!
Soupmail me.
Thank you!

Succor

Each galling ache with steadied prayer dispel.
Let that bland hour bleak with chilling thought
Glow with indelible joys of a yet hoping heart,
And knit such merry smiles as cute angels got.

Hold onto that time-tested unswerving dream
That martyrs' sorrows will just retribution find,
That her sweat and blood and echoed scream,
Shall not unavenged in giddied labyrinths wind.

Often hit by a gloating stare and its acid taints,
Hum within a great carol by famed fallen saints.
In your mean travails attended with dizzying pains,
Trust the holy writ that man’s sorrowing soul trains.

Even as false signs dupe that relief roams far,
May your woe-stoutened faith persist unshorn.
If the only light offs into the lowest horizon-line,
Remember the darkest hour is closest to dawn.

Soon shall the mourning soul’s sobbings cease,
For deepest angst precedes profoundest peace.

SETI set the bar incredibly high
   and so many light-years away
Seeking signs from distant galaxies
   beyond Andromeda and Milky Way

Scanning skies for intelligence
   extra-terrestrial, so far out
Perhaps we'd all be better off
   confessing profoundest doubt...

SETI is a project, started in the 1960's,
to detect radio signals, via giant satellite
dishes, emanating from the far reaches
of the universe, as the first step in con-
tacting other 'intelligent life out there...'

Life

Itself dispLays the Life of man
In the theme of less than a span
Itself flourishes from the womb
Ending in the profoundest tomb

Life brings up the man to years
With the air of cares and fears
Life beams what the man desire
Without sign that life can acquire

When the forms of life are gone
Not again, a physical life born
But spiritual life in heavenly tone
Showers a flawless life return

Life teaches us in all its steps
Steps of happiness and sadness
Lifts the spirit of man in its keeps
Until it will press a button of dyingness

The I of the Old

My life is no longer about the world and its subsequent-imaginary art
But about me, as a vessel and how God has comforted my heart
I’m no longer drowning from the profoundest void of my desperation
I came out with a new spirit; born to this… A brand new creation
I’m no longer the man I used to be; but re-drawn onto a different mold
The “I” of the old became just a memory; of my alter-ego’s… Gold
If you can only see me now, you’ll see the hunger bursting; all over my face
Like a great fire burning at the very core, of my soul; nothing else can replace
Just as if, watching the eye of a needle, inside a riddle; watching a giant storm
And then suddenly, here comes the thunder, shrieking with his lightning arm
As far as how spiritually, my soul and I can be, our journey has just begun
But at least we already know the way and truth; that’s in God’s only son
I am telling you the truth, I am as alive as I will ever be; no longer a dreamer
For my heart and mind is now at faith with Jesus; my one and only, redeemer

The Profoundest Lovel

The profoundest love that is ever made
Is the love of motherland, dears
That makes us bold and brave,
And waves off all our fears,
It turns men into humankind,
And they reason of their creation find
Love of land infuses in them celestial breath
Which keeps them alive even after death.

Deathbed

I'm awake, Yes! I see the Sun!
I hear mom, calling me breakfast is ready.
I step out, common'neighbors let's have fun
Roll our sleeves, delve into the world's beauty.

Hi there Scavenger sir,you need my help?
Smile, efface that face of languor and woe
Teacher, our shepherd, our lore thanks to you,
perhaps, you'll pour my empty cup hereafter, adieu.

Profoundest gratitude, apology I offer you all
Feign that doom is phantom and savor,
"the now",by-and-by,hot,winter or fall,
Alas! existence is evanescent akin to vapor.

Gurus

I bestow my profoundest gratitude,
model of virtue,passionate shepherd.
Young looking despite of snowy hair;
loved by many;always reliable.
Candid, well she is- grammar is her forte.

A woman of elegance and beauty
Intellectual prowess and dignity.
Detest prejudice and promote justice
To her, unity is priority
and students' welfare is paramount.

Refines demeanor is beyond compare.
Her eloquent, winsome tongue is a plus
Literature I once abominate,
poetry and prose now I'm smitten
Grateful am I, poetry I dote on.

The Frog, Translation of Etiemble’s quintet: La grenouille by T. Wignesan

(This quintet rhymed: ababc might in its propos -
perhaps in its imagery and allusion - be based on some family history involving the tragedy
over a son and the subsequent adoption of a daughter. If I’m wrong I offer my profoundest
apologies in advance.)

Lime-stuck last night by the frozen water of the pond,
frog boxed in glass window fending off thickening waters,
it’s our naked daughter, heart of cold gold, shivering
recumbent statue hardened: withstanding the rigours of
                                                             our wars:
stuck the other night by the cold of its/her times.

This’s our hardened son who plays the frog and to
                                                          himself lies,
caresses sharks, courts a female cosair
puts trust in spurious air which entices and captures,
flimsy trapped game strangling us by the collar,
frogs petrified by the fright of our times.

Mississippi Magnolia

MISSISSIPPI MAGNOLIA
Home is where the heart is
 That's what they always say;
 Well, my heart is Mississippi's,
 In the most profoundest way;
 It's who I am
 It's what I like,
 It's everything to me;
 A Mississippi Magnolia girl
 Is ALL I'll EVER be.
