Premium MemberThe Natural Probe

The teal peels as it submits to gloaming,
and a round lucidity exposed abroad.
As the alien brilliance shines far away,
the maneuvered view is being cast.

'Tis dormancy that exacts dark period of tenure,
countdown from the zero hour.
Distant silhouettes grow versus fawning growth,
dipped in Luna's balm.

The etching of profiled naturalness acquiesces,
constant figurines masquerading the expanse.
Subtle contours architecturally restructured,
split seconds surrender serene scenes.

The solid realm maintained lifeless postures,
as the teeming formations made idle trims.
Mimicry traces the bestilled in passing,
perfect copies render mockeries silence.

Heights claim their surroundings,
as the tight-lipped verdant statuesque frames.
Depths summon intimate intrigue,
whilst burgeoning burrowed bedrock bound.

Exchanging brightness extremely bold,
lilt ventures its routine as the subject of Sol.
More or less defining shadows...
there's no difference that a day would make.

Premium MemberAdorning the Shadow

The indelible image etched on my memory canvas,
the tide of time couldn’t tow to the obscure ocean. ,
In its shimmering shore on the satin sands
I engraved the lattice of my love for you.
The romantic spectrum of the sunburst sky’s fire
profiled the radiant facsimile of desire.

Our harmonious hearts took the entwined shape,
joined by the charming thread of sublime sunray.
I couldn't release your luring hands,
and felt my exhilaration fervently flicker,
flashing on your face like the luster of twilight,
I was flushed with the flare of craving delight.

You are gone where destiny has taken you,
your shadow lingers in my longing threshold.
I sense the enduring aura of your yearning,
like the argentine glow of the amorous moon.
I will never forget that night howsoever try I might,
as with stardust tinsels I adorn your shadow bright.

Premium MemberWhite Privilege

What is White Privilege, what exactly does it mean?
It simply refers to situations that the white man has not seen.
This term is not meant to provoke anger in those that are white.
It wasn’t intended to spread hate and start a racial fight.

It doesn’t mean that white people are lazy or even bad.
Nor does it mean that we have been given everything that we’ve ever had.
Not all are racially profiled because of the color of their skin.
Try asking someone who is black, that’s a good place to begin.

There are white people who sue their employers contradicting what you say.
Just because you are white, would you liked to be grouped in with the KKK?
All men are equal in this land of which we trod.
If you still don’t get it, try praying for guidance from God.

Criminalised By Colour

Freeze! Freeze! Cops here, put your hands in the air!
Get on your knees! Put your hands behind your head!
We had a report of a crime and came and found you here.
You’re under arrest; if you move; we will shoot you dead.
Officer, what is the charge for which I am under arrest?
Was I identified as the suspect in your alleged report?
I’m on my knees; hands behind my head; I will not protest.
Why an intruder and a criminal, did the caller purport?
I am an employee and the owner of this business officer.
It is my legal right and prerogative to be situated here.
How can you infringe on my rights; but, take benefits I offer?
You disrespect my liberty and dignity the anthem holds dear;
You profiled, labelled, tried and convicted; without knowing me;
I am guilty, until my innocence is proven to be wholly true.
In a country whose constitution don’t benefit me, who’s free;
Then what relevance is the ‘virtue of the flag,’ if not ‘equal value’.
                                                       End

Limetree New Years

The sandy beach awaited the celebration,
We were with relatives and friends.

We had a lovely dinner together,
After dinner we went out on the porch facing the beach.

I had collected shells which I had displayed on the bench
Shells of varying shapes and sizes.

They had fireworks profiled with excellence,
The sky was the background for the display.

We were with our favorite companions,
Enjoying the warmth of the Sarasota weather.

A midnight swim in the swimming pool guested,
We all liked swimming, our parents had taught us.

i wore a royal purple swim suit especially for the Christmas holidays,
My relatives liked swimming in the swimming pool.

A glass of champagne guested where we celebrated the New Year,
With relatives, friends and good neighbors.

We retired in the evening to our very comfortable and somewhat posh
condominium,
These are good memories that God and our parents have given us.

Treated Equally

If only everyone were treated equally. If we all saw the same color, no one would b profiled racially. No one would die for looking differently. If only everyone were treated equally, men and women with the same degree would b making the same financially. More men and women would get promotions and have a better salary so they can be able to support their family. If we were treated equally the ghetto wouldn't be deadly and there would b more friends than enemies, More celebrations than deaths in the community. If we were treated equally there wouldn't be so many fatalities or broken families. We would help each other, instead of judge and belittle one another. If we were treated equally the innocent wouldn't b guilty, and the rich wouldn't be greedy. Everyone would have a heart and help the needy. The world is not perfect but if we were treated equally it would be a place where every color is beautiful on a face no matter the race. A place where only love exist and hate is erased.

Up Everyone Trump Riled

Up Everyone Trump Riled

Up as usual everyone Trump had riled,
After reading things that he compiled,
To us occurred,
Completely absurd;
Each profiled person was always defiled.
