Premium MemberA Mother's Energy

A mother's energy
cannot be created or destroyed,
only transformed or transferred;
always there in full,
meeting the challenges presented
to her at that time.

From her prenatal care-
then long nights without sleep;
attending to her family
at home those days past birth-
she balances those other chores
which also must be met.

She handles whatever comes
through all the changing stages
of her children's growth;
 energy is transformed
meeting new challenges transferred-
from birth to adulthood.

Then in those years beyond,
often as a Grandma-
a strong mother's energy
continues on and on;
it cannot be created or destroyed-
only transformed or transferred.

Premium MemberEye Gunk

When we wake each morning
We're blessed with this stuff called “eye gunk”
Annoying as it is we are all blessed with it
Pretty sure animals aren't afflicted
If they were they would scratch their eyeballs
With their claws and scream bloody murder
Can you imagine the excruciating pain
This would cause unbearable discomfort to say the least
The only way to avoid the pain altogether
Is to curl up in the prenatal position and die

Expression

Running on the ocean of life
Swimming in the desert of wind
Walking on the ramp of feelings

I drink the glass of liquid milk from the eyes
Youthful winter touches the prenatal chamber
The raw dates on the peak of Mt. Everest from the honeymoon bed
Now it’s no light; the chirping of sparrow kicks the drowsy sad
God lives under the lash of money
Hell is predestined fate of the earth to the heart of haters
A piece of underdone meat on your body sparks
Spicy sleeping is now in that jaw shark

So late, so late in the conceiving pipe
All queries paying the pray of kind
The imported expression has no meaning

If Time Gone There Will Be No Achievement

I am wandering through the solemn wind of Surma River. No trumpet in the hands of songs but the flute of your lips whispering me the chapter of life. Honeybees are running in searching of honey flowers. On a piece of land cultivating there some unknown farmers but no nectar in the prenatal chamber chamber of the flowers

no contemplation there's
time has gone far away
repentance! but no way

Prenatal Farming

Unable to raise the very seed you planted
Unattached from your attachment
Cheap talk followed by hallowed out lies
Words without follow through have no effect on growth
Untrustworthy soil poisoning the garden
Leaving the seed to wonder,
Whether or not it is better off without you
No purpose for pesticidal love
Absence does not look so bad
Stunted growth as a result of misuse
You have foiled and disrespected the seed,
The offspring from your very own loin
Never again will another farmer trust you,
Their livestock deserves better

Premium MemberA Hit In the Groin

This is for men, is there anything more painful
Being hit 'tween the legs, no way to be graceful
You clutch at your groin
Some animals do join
Baying at the moon with instincts prenatal

Premium MemberWilde Oscar

“Some cause happiness wherever they go
Others whenever they go”
One of Oscar Wilde's famous quotes
Would have been a great man to know

“Always forgive your enemies
Nothing annoys them so much”
Another gem from this famous fellow
As a humorist he sure had the touch

“America was discovered before Columbus
But it had always been hushed up”
Yet another gem from this fertile mind
Don't think that's coffee in his cup

“I think God in creating Man
Somewhat overestimated his ability”
This one totally cracks me up
His mind worked with ease and agility

“A little sincerity is a dangerous thing
And a great deal of it is absolutely fatal”
It's something I learned a long time ago
In fact, I think I learned it prenatal

“Anyone who lives within their means
Suffers from a lack of imagination”
You should throw all caution to the wind
And give in to those naughty temptations

“Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable
That we have to alter it every six months”
Oscar is one of my favourite humorists
His mind was definitely out to lunch!

Things I Learned Last Week, Inspired By William Stafford

When I first read the title of his poem I immediately thought of all the new things I learned last week:

How important words in a brief letter
can have an impact on
another's decision and can affect your life.

How words that are spoken soft and carefully
can change each and
every life around you,
even some you may be unaware of.

That prenatal care is
highly important.

Just how far you can splash mud
across a truck.
How fun it is to let loose, sit in the middle
and make his day just by letting him
drive my ol' Chevy
And that an infant car seat is
not going to fit in it very well
this Fall.

Most of I learned that
young children are honest,
and if one four year old knows
you are going to have a baby,
the entire world will too.

Teenage Pregnancy

With broken heart and all alone, she cried.
“I love you.” were his words, but he lied.
A sweet young girl now lost in deep despairs.
No! Teenage pregnancy; God knows and cares.

She always was her daddy's little girl.
His precious child to womanhood was hurled.
A father's love surpasses anger's flares.
No! Teenage pregnancy; God knows and cares.

She went to church to learn the right and wrong.
A choir angel singing heaven's song –
Brothers, sisters solemnly sit and stare.
No! Teenage pregnancy; God knows and cares.

Her rounded body feels the life within.
Motherhood lives near to her chagrin.
Her mother held her close; the tears were theirs.
No! Teenage pregnancy; God knows and cares.

“Sure, she's nice,” he said, but we are so young.
Fatherhood was not for him; his song was sung.
“She should have been more careful,” he declares.
No! Teenage pregnancy; God knows and cares.

Bloodsport

Bloodsport
~~~~~~~~~
Children of the darkness
Massing with the waxing swell of our mistress Luna
As the canines elongate prenatal sight sees it
An unsuspecting naked city
Their feasting ground where many foolish herd beast
stalk the night as hunters ignorant of near lifesend
As the living shadows with burning nocturnal eyes
writhe and approach hunger is all consuming
Simpleton fools unclean in spirit and the flesh
This peril is never seen or heard, by would be killers
Judged and found wanting by the true nightstalkers
Hell bound and damned
A bloodless carcass left for the rodentia brethren
This gathering horde consume a wasted morsel
but it’s just an appetizer there’s much more to come
With the nights waxing, well before dawn they revel
in yet another unholy tantric blood feast
Prenatal Care
Perhaps, the first
Responsibility
Emerging after the euphoria
Nesting within
An expectant mother.
Taking
Additional vitamins and
Learning how
Caring for oneself
Actually makes a
Real difference in the health of
Emerging life.
