Lyrics by JT Curtis Preformed by Ann Icarus

Sometimes I feel sad
But I know
It doesn't last long
Things I do
They say aren't right
But I don't feel
That they are wrong
They think they can
Hold me back
But they can't see
Just who I am
They think that
I'm staying here
But will find out
I have other plans
They'll see
They'll see
They'll see
What a surprise it'll be

Take some applause, for the message that floored
The propaganda 2020... 21.. You stood tall, and spoke
Loud 'Ulsters son stood unbowed' you could not be cowed'
As humanity by power was defamed,l.' amidst false agenda
Out on a bender, as so called experts called surrender! yet you..You!
Stuck to your truth, its really plain.! so there is no day in
Court, reality has denied swann 'any rort?' And real truth has
Been shown; as not lame..' one more thing 'to be sure'
I'll put this on your door.. Van the man, standing tall'
For the people again.' He's preformed his greatest gig through false spin, all the lies' and all the pain.!

Potter and Clay

My heart is soft like fragile clay
To bend and move within Your hands
Emotions grow, then fade away
As life is changed by Your commands

For You alone, O Potter, can
Make usefulness from my weak clay
From dust and ashes You made man
You made me who I am today

And as You wisely fashion me
And I am changed by what You say
Unchanging truths You show to me
You leave impressions that will stay

And these impressions strengthen me
My clay is hardened–starts to stand
As You continue molding me
How glad am I within Your hand!

So blessed am I to be transformed
Into Your vessel, pure and clean
That all the wonders You preformed
Within me might be clearly seen

Premium MemberLove

I think I would love if
never having been taught:
Love, a fiber within my fibers
of being, an ethnic beat within my
vibratory skin--resounding, rhythmic
pulses of heartfelt reflection....

Oh, there is rhythmic refrain
even in the seeming tone-deaf;
symmetry even in the asymmetric –
for most sound begins long before
the audition, and patterns
are preformed by our hidden
attributor, the unseen architect of
all destiny, omnipotence we
sense behind existence, close
as self while elusive as a shooting
star....

To know is to stop living –
and to live, is to love
what we don't know, while
embracing for no other
reason.... The walking dead
fewer than one thinks, though
a deep trench through the soul of
experience.

Language shapes perception

As noticing natural communications
without spiritual prejudice
nuances verbal expression,
articulation

And re-articulation,
even revolutionary sublimation,
more occasionally
win/win complex emergence
standing apart from win/lose chaos.

Past enculturation
filters historical experience
preferring predictable resonance,
conservation of unchanging paradigms,
preformed frames of reference,
over cognitive-affective dissonance,
nudging and nuancing revolutions,
emergent creolizing re-articulation,
transubstantiating elements,
positive energy,
subtle empowerment,
nuanced enlightenment,

Across double-binding boundaries
of secular conserving frames
and sacred
liberally flowing
paradigms.

Re Difining Re Tirement

i haven't retired
yet other then
retiring in my
bed which

that being said
leads me to here
where i took a day
off coughing but

not sick just clearing
my throat as if i'm
speaking instead of
simply typing what

words you are reading
and words on my mind
so in a sense i am
speaking but in my

mind with the always
present conversationalist
accompanied by the
random soundtrack

that plays but
never knows which
song or genre will be
preformed for that

score is written every
day and not the day
before for they are
fresh free range

organic thoughts that
with no impurities pop
up whenever ever they
decide to speak for

notes are words just
look at your note
book's scribbling
having meaning

but sometimes not
meaning anything
but suggesting due
to interpretation

as so simple is
music not even
having to have
that kind of

sensabilities
can't you hear
your heart
beat along

with the roof
drum rain is
playing on
adding to

the melody of
bird songs sung
along with con
struction hums

and the occasional
voices of people
passing by the
window that

you can't
seem to
be able
to pass

outside

Premium MemberStinky Soul Potty Mouth

Allow yourself;
Freshen Your Breath With Righteousness---
colonoscopy (preformed on the wrong end)
mediastinoscopy (video views tracheal hues offend)
Mouth full of filthy voice;
Caught in bowls of bad choice;
Need to vacuum the end;
That's dirty, that offends;
Let the Savior in
Allow His to give you new beginnings;
Allow yourself;
To freshen your breath;
Cleanse your mouth;
Stop using the profanities;
That violates your pearly-white teeth;
While your soul whispers peace;
Rinse  your mouth with righteousness;
Cleanse your mouth;
With Holy goodness;
Talk about those virtues  of God;
Allow yourself;
To freshen your breath;
-----------with righteousness

Song of a Common Man

REVISED
When I was young I ignored age
and never thought of passing time
or viewed the products of its rage
upon this changing face of mine.

At that age blessed through life to go,
to walk high peaks close to the sun,
and think the clock was moving slow
above where the dark valleys run.

Slower the step with shortened stride
descending to the lowlands lie,
a shadowed vale of mystery
wherein there flows eternity

Each one may think they know the path,
some take the preformed, preordained
to that truth when we breathe our last,
they bow the knee and mind the same.

But man evolved to have a brain
for independent thought and choice,
his birthright without binding chain,
compose his song and give it voice.

Premium MemberPain and Sin

I belief is that pain and sin nature are related
I believe their first cousins
You can't have one without the other
In the beginning was man
Then God gave him to name all the animals
he praised and worship God and farmed
But man said he was lonely
So God preformed the first medical operation
Took a bone, a rib from Adam
All this
Then God closed his chest
Why you ask
it's because God His own witness
and if you haven't noticed yet
Pain lives within the reach of sin nature

Fodder Cable Cars Are Jousting With Clams Today

If you are going to attempt a waltz in a spotty teapot costume complete with a lid then do remember not to partake in tea drinking beforehand because the liquid might ruin the material and thus render the authenticity of the costume. People then would not quite believe that the waltz was going to be preformed by a tea pot for the fabric would be unsuitable to maintain an act. Acts admirably administer admirable and administrative actions. And a duty bound club of a chosen cup formation is now passing down the streets of the towns to clink and wave their handles at passers-by. And passers-by are neither Portarlington polestars pulsating, pink pine poles picking pogos. And neither are they decagonal in diameter. Disc like then. Good. Spin spin spin. Great. An electrical elephant prancing in a printed gown with a pointy hat. A peanut is very very inebriated and fell off a cushion. Left angled mirror equals four wheels driving to a dunk. Xxxxx authentication z z znz at thirty six hollering hula hooping hummus humps to twenty one beef cutlets in tight trousers. Z

POETRY IS.....

Poetry could be a
beautiful woman walking in grace
A response in an outburst of gestures.

Gestures of the creative expression
on paper, a person’s intuitive "right brain"
connection.

Connections, where their thoughts
become as one with their highest
imagination.

Imagination stifled, and not streaming could
cause poetry to become, frustrated
ramblings.

Ramblings of your lower mind causing
the therapeutic spewing of the
disconnected.

Disconnected, from enlightenment
"Left brain" needing to unload and
balance

Balance out some chit while Clearing
Cluttered brain-chatter and
mind-noise.

Mind noise lingering in “left brain.
subconsciously aiming to plug into
Gods Will.

Gods will, the “Right Brain “reveals,
pleasant revelations that inform'

Stanza's, verse, be it prose or poem-
read on paper or preformed.
That I would say.....

is Poetry

Stage Lights

The hot white lights shining down on your face.
The warmth of the microphone you're gripping so tight in your hands.
The loud beat of the drums and the loud stings of the strings on the guitar.
You stand frozen on the stage.
The crowd cheering you on.

Singing along to the beat of the acoustics,
The crowds cheers die down to listen to the hypnotic music.
Your heart is beating so fast.
You finish your song and head back stage.

Met by your agent,
he congratulates you and hands you a cold bottle of water.
You did it, you over came your worst fear.
You preformed on a stage.
And everyone loved you!

Poetess

Cousin - four generations removed

E Pauline Johnson

There was once, this unbelievable Lady, of great source,
who travelled this great earth, as a matter of life’s coarse,
carrying with her, a heritage of great, wondrous force.

To the world – then and now – she brought the word
onto two continents – Kings and Queens, fortunate, heard
of the life and times of her people and how hard
the road for many, even for this bard
who told, preformed, of beauty, degradation in this land,
told of the heroics, the genocide of the first, the red man.

This Lady, of integrity, honesty, great soul came to stand
for – what there is so little of, from mans deceptive hand
as we trample upon much of what once was noble, human
 and the coarse, the source, the force that could make us so
humane – especially at a time in this worlds long history
where hate, prejudice, greed rule – could we let it all go ?

This was a Beautiful Lady, who performed, wrote a story
