April Showers and Fools

At the beginning of April,
We hear two things:
Joking around,
And hopping into spring

The "April Fools" concept,
It's a bit of a mess...
Everyone trying to
Exhibit some "finesse".

I've indeed been pranked,
At least once today.
But I don't think it's funny,
In the same type of way.

The second foolish aspect
It that "May flowers" will come.
But I live in Michigan,
So that's a little dumb.

So, in the end
I really don't understand.
Why April even exists
I say it be banned...

Premium MemberDoom Is Brewing

Are you aware of Death's true name?
How can I verify his name's veracity?
What entices him to the heart of his being?
He's been dubbed "Dread"
Others have pranked Inevitable,
As of yet, these are only names.
You'll notice if you're cautious,
Motivation elicits his real name.
Carry on with your life utterly wary.
Not far away, doom is brewing.

When morning comes too early in the day,
And I have not yet begun to plan the afternoon
I shall make some time for myself to play.

For such a day leaves room to be the buffoon,
And find the time to do what pleases me most
Perhaps, I shall buy a yellow or a red balloon.

I shall blow it up and tie it to my fencepost
For no reason I shall make my neighbors wonder
About what it is that I am making boast.

Or, I think, it shall give them pause to ponder
What it is that I am celebrating today
They surely have a little time to squander

And if they don’t, they will find a way
To shake their heads and laugh audaciously
At a neighbor who has pranked their day.

Premium MemberWe Are the Eighth Graders

We are the eighth graders the mighty mighty eighth graders
Their mantra is loud and confident, a battle cry.
They sound proud and ready to face the day.
They are gathering a crowd of eight graders now.

They are an excited, jubilant happy mob.
We are the eight graders, the mighty mighty EIGHTH GRADERS!
Their first day in high school, and they are psyching themselves up.
Before they enter the high school as freshman, the bottom of the rung.

Suspecting they are going to be beaten down, put down, pushed down
Cranked, pranked, and possibly spanked by last year’s eighth graders.
They have older siblings, so they have been warned.
They march in as a mob, expecting the worst.

Can I Borrow Your Pliers

Can I borrow your pliers?
As I really want to rid myself of this ring in my nose,
How it got there nobody knows.

I am being led to places I don't want to go,
And my brain is starting to slow,
My immunity is dangerously low.

My computer is no help,
You can hear me yelp,
As I feel it gives me less control than a piece of kelp.

My chain is constantly being yanked,
By those paid to see me, pranked,
My chain preventing me from seeing them thanked.

My family are even worse off than me,
I need to tie them to a tree,
To prevent them going on a spending spree.

Can I please borrow your pliers?
So I can go to places and sites,
To find more than just fakes.

Premium MemberMy Incident With Prime Minster Pierre Trudeau's Firstborn

Young Justin Trudeau who was just a kid,
Pranked Canada's secret service and hid,
Had told him not to be here,
Warned by his father Pierre,
Called, "Young prince is on the asteroid vid."

The Untitled Show - Zanila Rhyme

Ironic lost in mimes parody
The world stumbling upside down
Stand aside, cast from the audience
Be witness of pranked pathetic clown

Ironic fill the taste, yet swallow
Your world brings life bitter sweet
Cast from the audience, stand aside
Intoxicate like ripe berries, squeezed

Ironic in what comes between us
We speak  like no yesterday
Stand aside, cast from the audience
Seek for sense which left the other day

Ironic to end this poetry
Muse sets spot in dark chamber
Cast from the audience, stand aside
Red curtain fallen, show is over

Smut

Never in a rush
Keeps his meow on the hush
King of his ground
Never backs down to any hound

Smut Scarface Casanova bwana stealth of a great lion. A relaxed and gentle lover Miss Kitty
purrs a sweet sexy song when king of the junk yard pride saunters along her way.
Other toms walk a wide path around the fearsome fighter. Despite his street wise charm
And cool airs he’s a man’s man and a gunsmith assistant. Always at the ready for a great
hunt or just palling around.
He doesn’t like to be pranked yet he’s quick to reciprocate a prank given the chance.
Address the grey aged cat with all due respect and a food offering to cheer his kind soul.
He lived his life his own way and died his own way in peaceful slumber hidden warmly among
the oak leaves.
True friends are hard to find and harder to replace. Smut the grey Russian blue will forever live in
our minds fondly.

The Smell of Colors.

Jest and youthful jollity,
I'm seeking the dazzling sights.

White pimpled dews hug on the greeny grasses.
Black flowers of tiny ants kissing other cheeks.
Golden daffodils lurking under the brown-mushrooms.
Violet flowers peeping from the nest of eggs.

Meroon seeds jungle and spliting slowly.
Grey squirrels gnawing and fighting for orange carrot.
Red berries oscillating by the soft wind.
Orange daisies dreaming about their bride-groom.

Pink rose buds shivering often the touch of moths.
Coral flowers sleeping on the bed of soil.
Purple sky attracted by the pleasant songs of birds.
Yellow butterflies pranked and jumping over the tendril.

Classic scenery spread everywhere!
Over! the smell of colors but my blossom heart wet!!!!!!!!!!
