Premium Member The Dying Time

SARAJEVO the dying time
In this the winter of the growing old
and failing of the hearts, a human crime,
as freezing rain falls thru the bitter cold
a welcomed bit of life is dying time.

No more to feel the pain of day to day
explaining to themselves, the misery,
of what the world's allowed to come their way
but time will prove it's what was meant to be;

and if a sniper's aim might bring the end
of any hope still left to call upon,
there's no one who could even comprehend
what's happened to a time that's dead and gone.

And on the streets their blood will make a stain
until it's washed away by warmer rain.

Premium Member Tax Time Again

Once again it's that time of year.
The time that we've all come to fear.
   They take every dime,
   It's tax season time
And poverty's getting so near.

All year I try to scrimp and save
And with spending habits to behave.
   They snatch my savings
    Despite my ravings.
Depression makes my spirits cave.

No matter how much you have paid
Your hope for a refund will fade
   When forms are revised.
   You'd best be advised
They really want ALL that you've made.

Courtroom Again

Courtroom…Again
Back into the courtroom I go
All the personnel I seem to know
I’m really sick of playing this game
Coming here over and over gets really lame
One of these times I’m going to land in jail
Communication with family only by mail
The DA and lawyers making a deal
A guy getting locked up for a car he didn’t steal
The judge seems to be a descent guy
But not the kind of man to forgive a lie
This time I walked away with no penalty
But next time they’ll probably get me
I cannot wait to put all this in the past
Being good is something that must last
I don’t want to get in trouble anymore
To have a good life, with happiness galore!

A Question

What a good question,
How did I get here? You asked.

At the beginning, a straight path,
One second, one breath, at a time
in a haze, one step forward, at a time.
Sleep, eat, learn, grow-up, build a home,
Time, becoming unlimited in itself.
Many, new problems to solve, concrete and focused.

Hidden intersections, curving stairways,
And the horizon distancing my quest
Other people’s problems took over,
And years tolled by, gardens were planted,
lives were created, challenges completed.
Many, more tasks to accomplish for a wide spread reach.

Options, series of platforms, upwards and downwards,
little space to stand and listen to time passing,
my problem so irrelevant and intangible, out of focus,
more years passed, life divided by stages and phases,
lost in my translation, time held me incomplete.
Many, memories harassed me, looking for that key.

Here, I stand in front of this waterfall, You asked.
One second, one breath, at a time
in a haze, one step forward, with a key.
Sleep, eat, teach, work, dream a future,
Time, is unlimited in itself.
Many, new ideas, a role to play, concrete and focused.

We are the young
and we must protect
the songs that where sung
and the hearts we suggest...

The way we sing in the shower
or give away the prettiest flower
the life we live and all that s***
the father time and the fires lit
our first time we give love
to the lust we created above
R-4-E-7-D-0
that's the way things should go
we don't have much time to left
so we have to do what is the best
we should start over again
a better place without the gen.
the blasphemy has to stop
so why don't we just pop?
another cap in social just
but that won't ever must
nor will it help us pound
so we should tare up this ground
and we have to start over
and create the supernova...

Stealing America

…As a proud American,
…Who sees the trouble were in,

…I can not believe my eyes,
…Watching them all spin their lies,

…Then I witness these events,
…Happen time and time again,

…And as our attention shifts,
…They play us all like puppets,

…These bold nefarious acts,
…Happening behind our backs,

…As they plunder the coffers,
…As they take back door offers,

…And sell our votes for profit,
…They steal right from our pocket,

…And as they all watch Rome burn,
…They huff and puff mock concern,

Illegal Immigration

The hour of darkness covers many men.
They enter foreign soil illegally.
En mass invasion time and time again.
The problem is arithmetically
impossible to stop. Deportation
is just an empty word that represents
a losing battle across the nation.
Until we take a tougher stance, miscreants
below the border will invade the north
in droves. We must begin enforcing laws
to curb this exodus and thus set forth
our firm intentions: Stay away because
if caught your stay is brief my deportee
Su clase no se desea aquí!

Inside the Box

Washington always “thinks inside the box.”
No wonder why we're in this fix we're in.
Their collective thinking stifles or blocks
The country’s progress and provides the spin
To sway the public view to uselessness.
This herd mentality is quite bizarre
To think that all these minds can not express
A single “out of the box" thought thus far.
It’s piteous, at least to me, to see
These coattail hangers we call congressmen-
Inane, inept reps of the bourgeoisie
Wind up screwing us time and time again.
One must conclude this simple inference:
Vote in or vote out makes no difference.

Disillusionment

Here, stunned, sit I, Illusions fading
reality, not really, changing
veil removed from beguiled eyes
avoiding all the masses cries;
discovered I a plot so cold
the mission now it shall unfold
dark Sirius shadows golden orb
sinister beings our secrets probe
within the deepest realms of Earth
dark web lurking no time for mirth
Light to bring, expose dark truth
of shadow realm 'neath radar lurks
of men corrupt who'd rule the world
subject Adam into their fold
no longer cloaked in sheepskin white
these Wolves plot evil in the night
it's time for us to make a fuss
lest, while Shepherd sleeps, they ravage us...

What Goes Around

Bring me back to I don't care
Back to I'll just comb my hair
Straighten up my ruffled shirt
And never never show I hurt
Freedom isn't free. I paid
And still I owe and earn
This welfare state is not for me
When will the people learn?
It's november fourth today
And I took the time to vote
It's just a goodbye way to say
To all I learned by rote
Freedom isn't free for me
Though more will disagree
I put my time in guarding thee
Goodbye that's all she wrote

Premium Member Idealistic Dreamer

They say we can never go back to the way it once was
We’ve sold our souls to the corporate bastards
I say we can and I say we will
One step at a time for the idealistic dreamer
Accepting not the lies and deceit
Knowing victory, ignoring defeat
We’ve jelled together from foreign lands
It was not built on shifting sands
There comes a time when we need to say NO
We’ve had enough, our strength we’ll show
We don’t need your kind of change
Our dreams, our faith to rearrange
A time for unity the nation cries
We can’t listen to your blatant lies
Fighting for freedom, for all those slain
One nation UNDER GOD we will remain
And so until the judgement day
An idealistic dreamer I will stay.
