A man on a mission 
Needs a woman with vision 
Not looks, beauty without brain.
You can't see what's ahead 
If you got a blurry vision 
To accomplish this mission 
You need a queen because you're a king.

You can do all you can
But you can never break 
What can't be broken
You can apply all pressure 
But

That poem alone pleases

That man alone seems charming,
Who a fancied lass finds fascinating, 
That poem is a piece of art

Politesse Pleases Me

Politesse pleases me...
thank you very much
for letting me clutch
your attention courtesy
sharing following thoughts
thru reading my poem analogous 
to invisible electronic, 
fantastic, kinetic... touch.

Manners work like a charm
equivalent to abracadabra to disarm
truculent nasty shortish brutes
who thrive causing harm.

Being well mannered
worthwhile to employ,
(whether Semite or goy)
if feeling surly
can supplant mood with joy,
the perfect spock
(to kindle camaraderie)
just ask

But Do Tell Me What Pleases You

I don’t know,
How to hold you,
How to love you,
How to support you,
How to hold on to you,
How to persuade you,

I sought your forgiveness,
But,
You didn’t forgive me,
You didn’t hold on to me,
You didn’t love me,
You didn’t support me,

I always thought I was wrong,
Wrong in what I had done,
Wrong actions done,
Wrong words said,

I had no recourse but

Sing For Me An Opera Song

Can there be a heart that pleases out there?
Come and sing for me an opera song
This beer has captured my brains

Only Faith Pleases God

H-e will surely be dismayed; 
A-im at what lies ahead, 
N-ever let your true faith fade.

F-alling back pleases not God, 
E-arly thirteenth of September; 
D-on't let your hope dwindle, 
E-ven during vile weather.
R-emain firm and steady, 
I-n spite of the odd;

People pleases 
Generally as a rule live unfulfilled lives 
Because they live in service to apeas others 

People who please themselves 
Are generally happy
Because 
They don't care about the welfare others 
Merely what they can do for them
