Premium Member Aliens perceptions of us

when they fly into our atmosphere, aliens and cosmonauts lock their doors
seal up their windows, and put their favorite things into sealed safety pods
they have watched our old movies and they see we are corrupt
there are a few good ones on this planet, but lots of criminals and thieves
Murderers too; they have seen C.S.I., Criminal Intent, and Forensic Files
We not only look angry, evil and frighteningly selfish,
we look like murdering marauders, we are nightmares.
Not only the aliens but the star dwellers, cosmic creatures and space spirits.
They have all seen what we do to each other in black and white and color.
They can barely imagine how particularly violent we could be to strangers.

Premium Member Faulty Perceptions

Release the world from your faulty perceptions,
And all the threatening things you believe it to be.
We see the world through our own tinted lenses.
Only the things we look for, are the things that we see.

When we question the origin of misguided beliefs,
They cannot hold up to scrutiny’s piercing gaze.
When exposed, they cauterize our gaping wounds by
Forgiving the sins, releasing the pain in a glorifying blaze.

The devil is in the details.
It's a house of cards built on shifting sand.
Release one false belief and let
The rest collapse in your trembling hand.

Perceptions

Judgments based on one's perception.
Others are a mirror of one's self
Reflections in the mirror are captured by one's thoughts

I am lovely
I am unlovely

The World is Glorious
The World is miserable

The sky is blue
The sky is grey

Earth is transitioning
Earth is stagnant

The mirror reflects empowerment
The mirror reflects powerlessness

What you perceive
is what you believe

An image of your world is beliefs
Change your beliefs
Change your world

Eventually
	We come to understand,
that it’s not how good we look,
	But,
	How well we see…

Premium Member Ignorant Perceptions

Today, I'm lost for words,
something seems so absurd.
Ignorant perceptions,
lead to blind deceptions.

My mind begins to rot,
being judged for that i'm not.
I curse those erratic eyes,
full of superficial cries.

In your selfish desire,
you wanna set me on fire,
wrap my neck in barb wire,
then you think I'm a liar!

Hatred has your thoughts ruled,
you're in need to be re-schooled.
Venom that has you fooled,
means your heart can't be cooled.

Save your sorry's, there's no need,
you just want to see me bleed,
but trust me you wont succeed,
on my success you won't feed.

what is the truth
in this dimension?
where do we go
what are our intentions?
I need to find

Perceptions

A chameleon adorning mirror scales
See rainbow hue’s
shimmer and shine, sparkle and glow
tiny glittering pinpricks of light

now dark and grey with lightning strikes
cutting through the darkness on tears of illumination
Don’t look too close
lest you find what you seek ...

You dig and dive and analyze and search
Deeper and deeper down the rabbit hole
twisting and swirling, the further you go, the closer you come home
The end is the beginning

Look closer now …
Change your view
Past the glittering light
Past the inky darkness
What you’re seeing
Is you …

The Eyes of Percertion and Deception

THE EYES OF PERCEPTION AND DECEPTION
Signs, symbols, and codes,
upon a road to many roads.
Tis your perception and deception,
for lies within truth,
and truth within lies,
from sunset to sunrise,
what will daily thoughts realise.

Knowledge and time,
to understand, it may not rhyme.
Research the search,
until infinity you see.
Some share knowledge in unity,
powers of a coded secret society
only shadows in the snow they show.

Discussions within me remain,
will questioning knowledge,
make one become insane?.
Avoiding mental mirrors before me,
yet, continually follow thee,
in darkness and light,
senses, for symbols and signs in sight,
are the eyes of perception and deception.

Perceptions and Perceiving

If we have an agreement with reality
that reality consists of 10,000 separate things
and that we in our body/minds are the
subject and observer of all of these things
reality will unfold just thusly..
Yet..consulting our experience we do not
find the many boundaries assumed
and the experience of seamlessness
arrives quickly in a new day...

Thought for the day....... "You will always define events in a manner which will validate your agreement with reality.” Steve Maraboli (Life, the Truth, and Being Free) Thanks, Nancy..!

Faceless Perceptions

Faceless Perceptions

Let’s not judge others by their looks
They are like those unread books.
Do I really know him by just looking at him?
Is he wise, kind, naïve or dim?

Do not judge one by appearance
Is it not deep ignorance?
Not looks but her work defines her…
Her strengths, her morals, her character.

Oh! He’s not smart. He’s a coward
but his skills could lead him skyward.
Yes, he may deem as one who tends to bend…
But like us, he is also god-send.

Have you stepped into his shoes?
‘cause if you had, you would get the clues.
We don’t know, what is held within
Is he a gem or has he committed a sin?

For, to some, books are gates to lands of pleasure
Keys to heavenly treasure;
To others, they are drab manuscripts of text,
Just picked up one and muttered next.

Then, why is it so?
Does anyone know?
Yes indeed!!!
To each to his own.

Let’s not be insensitive but be kind,
Everyone’s story has a story behind…
It could be the story of a villain, a hero, a bully, a lover;
And thus, one cannot judge a book by its cover.

Lost Perceptions

Lost Perceptions
(2010)

Love, a modern day hello and good-bye.
Pain and joy all at once, visible to the eye.
I loved that you were once here. Hate to say goodbye…
When the Bye wasn’t that Good beyond blurred eyes.
Eyes couldn’t see what was once held.
You gave me your heart and I watched as it fell.

It fell deep in love yet from work I couldn’t deter.
Money, she’d saved me, how could I not love her?
Patterns became schedules…I knew you’d always be there.
Complaining while I paid for desires that you never had to share.

Never had I thought that it would end this way.
I believed that love always had a price to be paid.
I have romanced and revealed sensitivity before.
They loved her too. If given the world, they’d want the galaxy’s floor.
I wish I had learned… listened to your silent cries.
I love you so much yet not enough to keep you in my Life.
