By virtue of its peculiarities
The gaze is at liberty through
chains of fragmentary images
The eternal light captures the attention
At sunset rise, with mystery of increase
Truth is mightier than the shroud of sin
Without confusion and uncertainty,
double-born in eternal love
The shadows of the earth in unprofitable strife
the silence reflects the sinful song
A living beauty all divine
twin tears of gratitude filled with the light of heaven

A wrestling River
has run its cause
A quick recce
and all is sorted
Be not a Miner or mariner
for promises they cannot meet
The spite of the bitter leaves
up to the knee
With a scheming
and storm in a teacup
I was thinking too fast
With a sinking of peculiarities underscored
Jacob has drawn my blood
but with a wink and a guile
perhaps we can grin
après moi le deluge

Beautiful shapes to look at
(that’s the Greek etymology)
cylinder of imagination,
childhood companion,
hours spent squinting and twisting,
magical mystery machine,
a carousel for the eyes,
never the same pattern twice,
akin to snowflakes or human faces.
If the world were a kaleidoscope,
I’d twist it round and round
discerning the beautiful facades
of places, people and peculiarities,
a prismatic eye-feast
restoring hope in humanity’s future.

We let time go by thinking that we will remain the same.
As we were together each day became a change within itself.
The change within us gradually occurred.
Separation was not our plan.
What we did not see or try to understand that our spirit was not the same.
Dividing us a sharp precise division leaving us not as one but two.
Two separate individuals searching and longing for the same thing
or were we?
I wanted to give my love to someone.
You wanted someone to love you.
We thought our unity was placed together by some divine power.
Every day we became familiar.
Our habits and our peculiarities we could have dealt with
But our soul was not the same.
The take was too great for me.
Out of all the love I gave.
Out of all the love you took.
You gave no love to keep the fire burning.
The fire burnt out taking our love with it.
Not even the ashes hold any traces of love.

...or It's good to be the king!
What was't made King Cole
Such a merry old soul
As he sucked on his pipe,
And he supped from his bowl,
And he fiddled around
With three young court musicians?
And what was the role
Of his missus, Queen Cole?
Was she under a table
With a lad from the stable
Who was told he'd be able
To upgrade his position?
These royal highnesses
Were not known for their shynesses,
But more for their quaint peculiarities.
The queen drank from a chalice
That was shaped like a phallus,
While he labored away
Doing king things all day
In a black lace brassière
And a pink negligée.
But their subjects adored
Such eccentric vulgarities.
Now, getting back to the king,
That sweet silly old thing,
Here's how his story played out.
He had good years aplenty,
Then at three score and twenty,
He finally retired
And expired of the gout.

It befalls on me the intensity,
Catapulted with dire immensity,
Within which lives the sensitivity,
Of them emotions built, the lightest.
Then befell on me, the beknownst,
Whistled in hymnes and in absence,
The peculiarities in offsetting balances,
Them unknown like the remnant strands,
And today rejoicing to the kinds of sounds,
Evilly tracked and maximum on commands,
Nursed the grievances forthwith,
Right so denied the chances to doeth,
Fight for agreances to heal and find worth,
Midst the punches on all ends and broken.

People in my circle,
Same interest,
Common goal,
The heart's Venn diagram,
Uniting us,
Differentiating us,
In one huge plane,
The boundaries set by nature,
Its beauty is enhanced by the variety,
Rings and shapes intertwined,
They intersect to show us,
A people crafted with peculiarities,
A people with disparate dispositions.

The causes of World War I,
factors such as political,
territorial
NATIONALISM,
and economic competition,
BENEFITS,
and not to let it ocur,
the breakdown of the balance of power
SUPERIORITY
as well as a series of diplomatic clashes
PRIDE
The causes of World War II
strong currents of revanchism in German politics,
PRIDE;
the worldwide economic crisis,
BENEFITS,
many people lost faith in democracy
and countries across the world
turned to authoritarian regimes,
and their ambitious and aggressive domestic and foreign policies
NATIONALISM
To those three peculiarities – NATIONALISM, PRIDE, BENEFITS,
we should also add two more today – OVER POPULATION that the earth cannot feed,
and CLIMATE CHANGE
What do you think the causes of World War III will be?
Well, no need to be a prophet to say what will happen
Now all those outcomes are visible in our time
Nevertheless,
The only thing that we want is
to live all around the world in peace
how can we manage to do that?
In the way one of the greatest leaders in history,
Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK said
“PEACE AT HOME, PEACE IN THE WORLD”

We are a perfectly mismatched set.
We share contradictory alliances in Peace
We conquer complimentary foes in War
You quell the unnerving anxiety that haunts me
And I haunt the quelling worry that unnerves you.
My emotional lows keep your mental highs grounded, well-balanced, and sane
While your emotional ups grant my mental downs the conviction, confidence and trust needed to take flight.
.
May the discrepancies we harmonize bring the peculiarities identified by our inner circle
because they misunderstand
the eccentricities that keep us identically opposite.
We will thrive in eternal impermanence, blissful in our gloom,
satisfied with our greed
We are a perfectly mismatched set

the way you walk, and talk
is at the mercy of tides and shifting dunes
the foibles,
the characteristically odd ways
of your individual life
its mannerisms and behavioral peculiarities
will fall away by and by
and what will be left
is this perfect alien species
formed by your every dazzle and daze
a translucency
all shall recognize as themselves

Scorned!
Tag Me
Label Me
With Derision, treat me
Liken me to a wet disgust
The scrawny dog dragged from the gutter depths.
Still I Shine.
I am Ablaze.
Adorned with fiery darts of pearly strings.
I am choosing to ignore the peculiarities
Of my confinement.
Shackling off identities of cultural definition
Put me to bed with pasquinade.
Cloth me with double portions
of traduce and slander.
Give me vilipends for a pillow
Carefully tuck me in with slur and trash
Dim the **** of my bedside lamp.
Watch me flutter my eyelid in restful slumber.
Hear me snore in gratitude.
Be sure of one thing-
My Outshining When I Rise.
This is the dawn of a new era
I am an alien to Your presumed assumptions
I laugh confidently
through my gap-teeth
and smiles fill my dimpled cheeks.

now
i'm left to ponder
the mouse that ate the bait
on a set trap while i watched
and
the radio played lennon's 'imagine'
after which the mouse walked away
to the tune of 'we never knew each other anyway'
so
i'll set the trap again later
and wait to be witness
