O thou little town
situated within the largeness of Judah
Wee little lamb Bethlehem
skipping alongside the big city rams
Chosen by God
for your humbleness
You were never numbered
amongst the mighty and proud
Receive your special delivery,
Messiah in a manger ...
the Highest born amidst the lowly
Savior of the world
born in such a small place
The few shepherds who saw the holy view,
would never forget the golden child’s face
The goodwill of God towards man
was birthed in little Bethlehem
A love so large and infinite
delivered in a tiny parcel of land —
Bethlehem, like a mustard seed,
is where the gospel of salvation began
Flirty Tail Spinners
A glowing mist gravitates toward the earth
Golden particles move into a canal of birth
Electrically charged by an unseen force
In a honey like substance, follow their course
Each particulate holds a massive power of life
Arriving identical none bare the same pallet knife
Of colors or purpose, each has a regal fingerprint
Pastels paint the land accented by transparent tints
Some are cool showers to fortify life washing all clean
Others are flowers and trees supernaturally seeding unseen
Larger ones hold the power of growth and stimulation to reach
Every parcel of land from inland to decorating the beach
The flirty tail spinners are the master rainbow makers
Humanity collectively gravitates toward timeless acres
Basking in summer’s brilliant color bursts of majesty
Finding solace from the worlds havoc in this amnesty
Summertime Beauty

How does on measure the worth of a man?
How does one try to surmise it?
Can a man be appraised like a parcel of land?
There are so many things that comprise it;
For the gem of his soul has such faceted cut,
That we're hard put to judge by set standard.
It depends from which angle you're viewing the gem,
How it's depth and it's beauty are rendered;
So how can we measure the worth of a man,
When we can't see all sides of the jewel?
Do we measure the body, the spirit, the soul,
A man is not single, he's plural;
So to even attempt to judge part of a man,
Without giving thought to the others,
Is like trying to sing just part of a song,
It's left lacking as you will discover;
So leave the appraising to He who is worthy,
To judge on the part or the whole;
For once He's refined him the whole man is worthy,
And he comes forth shining as gold.
"FOR HE KNOWETH THE WAY THAT I TAKE; WHEN HE HAS TRIED ME, I SHALL COME FORTH AS GOLD."
Job 23:10
To all pursuers of dreams
Think of your dream as a castle
On this day at this moment
You stand on the parcel of land
On which that castle of yours is to be built
You can choose to stand as long as you would
...and do nothing but wish
Or you can begin by removing a stone
...from where it shouldn’t be
Or drawing a line where you wish to dig
Point is, you must begin
You must start now to do something
For if you don’t do something toward that dream today
Tomorrow it shall still be waiting to be done
It shall face you accursedly for not having done it yesterday
Any hesitation to do the necessary means
The completion of your castle shall have been delayed
By yet another day
...the day you stood wishing... and doing nothing
Ignoring that little that should’ve and must’ve been done
If and before the castle of your dreams
...is to stand boldly in the air
...for all to see and for you to own and cherish
All work must diligently precede
Hence a day at a time is the best guarantee
