Outstrip Poems | Examples

Premium Member The power of true art

Art said to be most masterful on any dark surface
Cave paintings outstrip more than this
Raw power in their primitive hues
Blazes out in what they choose
Leaving more refined images less than equal
To the more potent primeval prequel
It is how they lived and how they died
We witness true ,tested and tried.

What more of a true artist can we ask
than that she will never reality mask.

Sacramental Trees

Maybe you didn’t know

When you hurt me so.

Maybe you 've killed t a few

I think your words would do.

I float across that space

Where lovers once embraced

And thus you bring torment

To me to whom love you sent.

When I close my eyes

My daytime face then dies.

I look across dark seas

To sacramental trees.

My dreams are full of loss.

Is night or day the worse?

When we return next here

Will love outstrip our fear?

I gaze upon your face,

Forbidden to embrace.

My arms ache deep inside,

As if in agony tied.

Torn apart by grief

Love is now a thief.

Where has God’s face gone

As brightly shines the sun?

The pains of loss are sharp,

Cutting through the heart

But still we turn towards love,

With all the strength we have.

Trusting in the dark

And emptiness beside

I step into the void

Love can’t be denied

Premium Member Ringmaster's Muse

Who is the Ringmaster?
Who is the pawn?
Who will decipher
When the patrons are gone?

Enter the Big Top spot the trapeze,
Allay all your fears, put them at ease.
Barnum, Ringling masters long past,
Legends of showmanship destined to last.

Performers who push human boundaries,
Whose skills outstrip all practicalities.
It's raw talent on view in center ring,
Unique marvels of practice really happening.

No single skill matters outside the ring,
Performance in life, that's the thing.
Suspend for a moment what you know to be real,
Fantasy is fostered, it's the circus appeal.

Listen to the Ringmaster's full vibrato
As he shows each act with flair.
Paces his rich voice staccato
Presenting, making you connect and care.

Never lets himself become the show,
Top hat in hand in center ring, beginning to the end.
Tells you all you need to know,
Master of all the fun, every patron's friend.

Premium Member Love

Love is a sweetness
A sour love needs to be dismissed
Stay away from regret, sorrow, hiss
Outstrip from sadness

Love is to be happy
Two hearts proceed to the same end
With full vitality and honesty blend
To make road life balmy

Love is a smiling
Persists thirsty and hungry conditions
Upholds minds through any situation
With blessed feeling

Love is for tearing
When the final day deprived a life
Condolence tears as the final sign
Love bears the ending!

Keep Displaying

Become the outstrip,
Far ahead,
Recieving an extra tip,
Apprehension becoming dead.

True for the peace,
Realness in portions,
Disease as a tease,
A change; distortions,

Keep on praying,
The thought is now the movement,
Honesty keep displaying,
To leave behind the improvement.

One Thing I Know

Not the man who father me
For he lacks primary proof
He only digests what he was served
Mother has the knows it all
Woman fakes to outstrip any being
Fact surpasses chemistry of my existence

Not my mother too
Novice in which drop of sperm formed
Resemblance is not birth-proved
Intimacy does it perfect in chemistry
Neither birthdate nor birthplace
My due-date is out of grip
Only a thing I think i know
Yet I know with certainty
Love from me for real
All are pipe to you
This I know enough

Hinterland

How elders sought the dictate of the boundaries,
with insipid lines on arid parchment traced,
warnings not to overstep the distance,
for beyond is where the land is laid to waste.
Beyond is where the many headed serpents
coil and writhe and wriggle on the rock,
and breathe out streams of such outlandish fire
that it burns interpretation in the flock.
Beyond is where the bravest of the angels
turn aside and always fear to tread,
and where there are such infinitely worse things
than snipe and lay pedestrian with the dead.
The elders love their boundaries established,
and for all to then remain within their span,
for only should the realms of gods transcend them,
and forever they outstrip the realms of man.
Their norms decreed to not out-pace the shadow,
or think beyond the world they understand,
yet breeds fear for the thoughts of other dreamers
who may seek the world beyond the hinterland.
