Tis the year of his great shame
It's not his fault, all he did bears no blame
He faced the fickle fate, tried to stand its weight
Ultimately, he still failed, and this poem tells his tale
Paragon of light, the hammer's champ, were just some of his names
Everywhere he came, peace and harmony stayed
Selfless and kind, mentor to the young and famed
His favorite pupil was the king's own heir
He saw his own self in the young boy's flair
Treating him just like everyone else
He imbued the boy with the light's guidance
Together, they fought well, tried to stop the evil's sway
He never knew the prince's soul bore a dark curse
Faced with evil - hatred and revenge seeped into his pupil's braincase
Genocide and slaughter ended up as the prince's favorite ways
He tried to stop his pupil's wrong and erroneous traits
Yet all he attempted was of no avail
Darkness replaced light in the prince's heart
And so their final clash no one could thwart
Evil's triumph, light's fall, our hero's bitter tears outpoured

“I AM life’s Bread,”
The Lord, Jesus, said
He never faltered
Words ne’er altered
“I AM the Way.”
They turned away
Couldn’t bear the thought
Of what He taught
“Eat My Flesh, drink My Blood.”
Yet no one could
It was the law
There was no flaw
This new teaching
Seemed to be breaching
What they always knew
Obeyed as a Jew
They couldn’t see
This was He
Who gave this Word
They’d always heard
Who made the change
That seemed so strange
“Eat My Flesh, drink My Blood.”
They couldn’t see this was good
New Covenant to bring them to
The very same God, Who
Willed from the beginning
Despite our sinning
For all to come to be
With Him eternally
That He gave His Flesh and Blood
On that holy wood
By His death on the Cross
We gained from His loss
The very Life of His
In the Holy Eucharist
His Flesh for me to eat
For it is just and meet
His Precious Blood outpoured
To be worshipped and adored
For only by the merits of He
Could we enjoy Heaven’s eternity
Since by our grievous fault
We closed the Heav’nly vault
He made for us a new way
By life-giving words He did say
“This is My Body, this is my Blood”
Take and eat, take and drink as you should

In the humdrum of daily life,
There are reasons for me to praise -
Grace is enough amidst all strife,
God guides my feet in His just ways,
Gifts new mercies as each day dawns -
There are reasons for me to praise -
Helps me let go of past bygones,
His everlasting peace outpoured
gifts new mercies as each day dawns,
Binds me to Himself with love cord,
Leads me on in paths of sweet joy,
His everlasting peace outpoured;
His Word in each step I employ,
His Spirit convicts and comforts,
Leads me on in paths of sweet joy;
When I'm bogged down by tears and hurts
in the humdrum of daily life,
His Spirit convicts and comforts,
Grace is enough amidst all strife.

LAZY AFTERNOON
Heady with scented freshness,
The drowsily flowing river
Glides through a sun-skimmed
Summer's simmering day -
As outpoured wine to be savoured,
Together with the static, fevered tones
Of a hot, unquenchable breeze,
Slow-meandering in its languid state,
Unhurried by the lazy afternoon's stillness,
Spent in the somnolent embrace
Of a weighted, swaying hammock,
Where the beat of time seems suspended.

To morning hope I belong
It's the same birds song;
Reminding me to pray
Day by day
Until it flies away.
I'm hoping to open the blind
To see what is its kind
this joyful warbler of mine.
"Thank you God for ears and time
To sit and to read Your Word.
Before I rise, my life outpoured."
I'm sure a neighbour would know,
This bird's name like a pro
so I could greet it
Next time when it would sit
With sweet morning song
To hope we belong.

With our pen we speak,
Not that our voice is raised to the peak.
The ink outpoured by Pengicians
Appears like rays of stars in the bans of magicians
Who brought the pen to the earth
With which the men have grained and breathe
The lower ones are great at lens
Crawled before but now slate the fence
The cap of knowledge from which intellectuals tap
Flowing endlessly as it crawls around with gap
The papers obey her rule
Heeding to every drop if the blue
I blaze and graze
when I smell the grains it creates
My pen my pen
Oh! I bow in the midst if flames,
I love my pen
I love my pen
In the midst of men,
Oh I raise my pen.

Security. Health. Dignity. Life.
Nothing remains, only strife.
Lost, robbed, taken with force;
Cruel, wanton, with no remorse;
Reason, logic, sense cannot dispel;
Offering only, a glimpse of Hell.
No true God, can allow such evil to exist,
Spewing injustice, with an unrelenting fist.
We must be on our own, without a god,
We whisper with, an affirming nod.
Bad is evil; good is love.
Our feeble wisdom, tells us of above.
The One who was, is, and always will be,
Sees things differently, than forever will we.
If we were all knowing, we would understand,
Infinite blessing is given, with an open hand.
Evil and love, products of free choice.
In action, in thoughts, even in voice.
Labels of earthly bad is included in this.
Oft, our thoughts here create the abyss.
Growth and faith strengthen with pain,
Bringing forth wisdom, and heavenly reign.
Blood, sweat, tears outpoured,
Lift us higher than heights, ever soared.
We pray we could know, what we will truly know then.
Until our death comes, we share the fate of all men.

With underlying arms well akimbo
Seductively they glance at each other
Smiles seasonally defined
Amidst celebration in the bed of rose
Gently they pulled their panties
Preaching to one another amidst copulation
The Bible too far from bed
Humbly replaced rubber cum metal
None was Godly alarmed
The Reason for the season ruefully undermined
Where then lies the climax
As ejaculation overtakes redemption
Who will save the saving Jesus
Lonely outstretched on the cross
Works already ongoing on the second grave
Christ Himself has run drought of blood
Where lies a candid remorse
For the pints already outpoured
Salvation has grown archaic
Wooing versus soul winning epitomize affray of the moment
How can the immoral game be refereed
The spinster is much in need of it
Gently lovely lowly she plays her wing
Who can suspend the salacious match
Time is here at hand
When Christ Himself shall arise with whistle
Showing the end of the match
And making selection for next league
Being the reason for the season

He knew no darkness for eternity before
No separation from the Father and the Spirit in unbreakable accord
But freely out of love for the children of the fall
Such an agony and horror through the holy wrath of God on the sin of man outpoured
In his sinless undeserving perfect manhood without murmuring he bore.
Now full of splendour eternally he reigns as Lord
In exultation with the Father and the Spirit incessantly adored
The mystery of grace shall ever be explored
The wisdom and the mercy and the boundless love of God in the spotless Lamb
declared
shall be wondered at unceasing by the angels and by new creation evermore.

Some people hate risks
Fun is banned in quick whisks
More and more are afraid
The rules are only to be obeyed.
No appeals, no changes
Loving just rearranges
A cookie will break
Is the risk they'll take
But as they wipe away the smile
They enjoy the taste all the while.
"No more pain", they plead
It hurts to bleed.
Only what's carefully planned
Comfortable or canned.
With a plan "C" or at least a "B"
A life of risks is too risky.
Just with plan "A"
"Please God", they pray.
What is a risk anyway?
Faith, Love, Trust and obey.
"Vengeance is Mine", says the Lord
His wrath will be outpoured.
Trust His justice and step out
Take the risk, just don't doubt.
All will be revealed
God's will is sealed.
His forgiveness is sure
Over each heart and soul secure.
But we have to ask
If in His love we'll bask.

The angel Gabriel appeared to Mary,
He said that she would bear a son,
And call Him Jesus, the Son of David,
The Saviour, man, and Holy One.
(Chorus)
The perfect gift came down from heaven,
The Son of God born on the earth;
The Prince of Peace, the King of Jacob,
Became a babe of humble birth.
The shepherds kneeling, the angels singing,
Give praises to the infant Lord.
The Father's glory shines round about them;
The love of God that night outpoured.
(Chorus)
His beaming star stood above the manger,
It led the wise men from the East;
They fell and worshipped, and then presented
Their gifts to Jesus, King and Priest.
(Chorus)
