Where Grass That Grow

When you hate someone
And you still feel love
It's like burning a grass
And then still grows back.

When you control love
And you still unable to deny
It's like mowing the grass
After a few days it offshoot again.

When you befriend someone
Be sure it is mutually agreed
For when trouble comes near
Both parties can able to amend.

When you err for someone
Be humble and go to her
Never deny, ask for forgiveness
And never do it to err again.

Premium MemberI am the world

when our body-mind dissolves
ego recedes, soul evolves
with soul an offshoot of God
Who is known when heart has thawed

entering thought cessation
dropping body sensation
we as consciousness expand
obeying our heart’s demand

whilst humming a soundless verse
we swallow the universe
as the breath of God Himself
and then behold light of Self

our true Self stands outside time
and space, mirroring God’s chime
feeling complete, bliss replete
as light that does not deplete

from God comes Self, from Self soul
in pulse dual, in its role
each module merging with source
when life has run its full course

there is as such no one here
yet all are one, to us dear
God is in us, we’re in Him
in these dreams in which we swim

if body be but the elements
borrowed from Mother Earth
and blood be crystallised light
an offshoot of eternal Self
with breath as God’s life force
given to us on short lease
where remains cause for bondage
when there is no one here

Premium MemberEach Passing Cloud

Indelible link to a bygone event,
one clutches with foolproof recall,
of cerulean cloud-ridden sky,
on that pivotal day I penned my first opus,
I strolled at a leisurely pace,
down this charming but tangled green lane,
that would later perturb the gist of my tract,
uncanny those sun-streak formations,
sinuous transient rich-coloured sequence,
each passing cloud had this mammoth offshoot,
kaleidoscope medium hue snatch,
wild spur to psychic pictorial harvest,
downward plod seemed so apt as a title,
perky whisper from cotton wool sweep,
had its dawn in thin veil mists,
I zestfully scribbled each thought,
without stick, hum and haw, tribulation,
prickly hedge, blue fly drone, rambling briar,
found their unforeseen Orphic voodoo,
fervent stanza and spiral quicksand,
spooky banshee air wail raucous thriller,
to spore shedding fern, somber ripple or dash,
tangy vapour guide rails afterglow,
drop by drop float on satin rim fleece,
and so my first plot was conceived,
at the whim of a noonday cloud

Premium MemberWhat Poetry Is

What makes poetry what it is?
Poetry is more than just a genre of literature
Or merely another branch or offshoot of authorship.
Poetry is language in its most sublime form…
The language of emotions, and passions,
And the expression of the imagination…
A uniquely universal language
In which the human heart engages
To communicate with and about nature,
The human experience, and itself.
The language of poetry expresses
The very image of life in all its various guises.
Poetry is, in other words,
The elemental stuff our lives are made of.
Everything in life that makes it worth remembering,
And telling others about, is what makes poetry what it is.

The Life of a Tree
David J Walker

There was life left in the old tree
New branches growing from old limbs
The offshoot that sends new growth
Into the Spring soaking up the shine
Of the post equinox sun
There standing with a chainsaw
And sharpened ax
I could see what could be
In the life of a tree
Not done living

hope ain't a pored plague - sassy spell:
gaunt gullible on craving etched

hope is not a pruned parable:

Premium MemberI Have Never Felt So Loved

Cosmos magic assails me, delights me, entices me.
Heavenly bliss smiles upon my willingness to become one.
Spiritual energy lifts me, inspires me.
Ascending, I transmute
A star now, I smile at my empty chair.

Other stars congregate around me. Welcome back, they whisper.
Not in a voice, but in gentle, loving, thoughts.
I recognize them, they are the ones I had forgotten.
I am feeling blissful, loved, experiencing a soul level I had
Been banned from retaining in my earth body.

My empty chair sends love to the hickory tree behind her.
I realize they are related. At one time, she was an offshoot from
the tree's roots.
I am an offshoot of another world.
Leaving this one behind will be no hardship.

Sparkling, dazzling energy enhances and promotes sheer happiness.
I feel a delight I had forgotten.
I am delicately surrounded by the cosmos which loves me now,
Has always loved me, and will forever love me.
I say "I have missed you so much!"
Knowing the one I have missed is me.
I have never felt so loved.

New Year's Resolution

all alone around of me
nefarious cold darkness
odd sounds crawling
foggy the wind whining
as white ghost swarming

loneliness I’m into me
light of candle makes depth
season of the friendship
out border phantom of sight
on wall by wall winter plays
mossy grey snow ball game

solitude sound of cricket
in the heart of desert
creates the craftsman of word
the poet on the starry night
from the zero second strikes
new offshoot of century

new desire inside drinking
cheering, waiting, welcoming
new dawn with flying pigeon
let humanity be our religion
