Blue eye shadow, blue beak, black innocent eyes - bleak
Chestnut back with designed grey gown and tail ~ misspeaks
He with a white necklace, she a smooth ochred chested
Silent birds still in bare forests at God's behest

Painstaking plumes of surest gait
To wield diamond steel over fate;
With slow pair of wit-guarded lips,
As otiose words sway great ships.
Invincible flair and exacting knack
To stand out from the frothy pack;
Ochred with all blue-penciled skill,
For nabob’s dimwits do mimic still.
With the far-scanning aquiline eye
That fowls unborn miles like a spy;
Plus an ear for tiniest voices tuned,
For idlest vowel by vagaries ruined.
Gigantic empathy for pinched souls
Hewn down by lot’s inclement fouls;
Felt tear for fellow wayfarers stung
By blunt luck's blade rashly swung.
A little but constant sacrifice betimes,
For bereft chum eschewed by dimes;
Or even total strangers in want of bail
Out of a jinx along existence’s icy sail.

devour her crust I must
greedily feasting the
roundish skin and ochred
pumpkin muscle within
since barely I could toddle,
away from baby's bottle
I've relished her delicious
full fall-moon feast
at least calming my distraction
flaking away stress and dismay
to pointed surfeit I'd bet
that entirety would be
my inevitable terminus
replete upon languished
fundament so heaven-bent
to drowse and dream yet
more pumpkin pie it'd seem

Senses are aware of a cavernousness,
And of a stillness almost quietley abrupt..!
softness of light & air surround all,
deft as breath as from a doves wing reposing
billows of liquid descending are as grains,
the seeds of an "almost raining"
A lowering of horizion encompasses,
Valley, ridge, and outcropping crag's
the listening atmosphere waits...
breathless as soil is enriching
Close by mammals disturb the folds of fallen bracken,
with bursts of muffled sound, as hand in hand lovers stroll around

You did not love the sceptred sunshine
You loved the summer’s undiluted sun
Which in the end took its bitter revenge
In depriving you of your saline serenity
Into the depths of crazed pivoted symphony.
Rest assured in your diverted quickened steps
That nobody loved the soul within your crest
The crazed straw hat topping your yellow hair
Your red beard drenched in the crowds, a fear
It was enough to drive the crazy sickened mob
For a revenge on your enflamed tortured throb.
Children will mock you
Citizen will lock you
Women will scorn you
People will disown you.
Dawning clouds and rustling winds
Broken strokes of the lemon rinds
Vermillioned lamps amid ochred yellows
Cobalt blues of the sulphured mellows
Embittered flowers in the wasted vase
Vibratory landscapes in twisted grass
Pavement cafes under the starry skies
Purpled deeds in hallucinatory nights.
With colour and the light
And amid a creative start
An explosion within your soul
And a bullet in your heart.
