Squirrel

My friends are such a squirrelly bunch,
they like to eat nuts for lunch.
And when you think they are done,
they eat some seeds just for fun.

Premium MemberThe Truth Would Be Nice

Brand new Rolex watch!
A gift from her best friend
One day it just stops working
so she has to take it in
Watchmaker says, "Not worth it,
the flat Cyclops proves it's fake"
This news is so upsetting
She cries out, "For goodness' sake!"

Fighting first-date jitters
her boyfriend reads a poem
Adds, "You inspire me to write,"
Assures, "I wrote it on my own"
When she shares the poem with friends
several laugh, "You didn't know?"
"It's AI-generated!"
She screams, "AI AI No!"

When her boyfriend pops the question
she quickly answers, "Yes!"
Large diamond ring, so pretty
She is very much impressed
As she takes it for appraisal
she presents the ring with glee
When she asks about the 4Cs
Jeweler simply says, "CZ"

She wonders why in life
she can never catch a break
A Rolex watch, a lover's poem,
a diamond ring, all fake ...
Focusing on thoughts more mindful
reminds her of what real life means
Helping people is more important
than accumulating things

How do you imagine hugs?

A physical presence so is just standing there,
Keeping your head making other things,
And not talking a single word.
C'mon,
Did your friends force you?

Nice Books

There’s never any sex in nice books,
No writhings until break of the dawn,
There’s never any sex in nice books
They leave that for works of soft ****.
In nice books they go out to dinner
Having been introduced by friends
Shake hand goodbye at her door
When that fateful first date ends

They continue to see each other
The way people in nice books can
Building a romantic scenario
Average young woman and her man.
And then she invites him home
After a night in too many bars
And, as nice books usually do
A page is broken by a line of stars.

The next scene is eating breakfast
And yes of course he stayed the night.
From the course of the conversation
You gather everything went just right.
You use your imagination in nice books
No moans and writhing until dawn
If you want a more explicit picture
You’ll have to progress to soft ****.

Justice Was Once a Nice Queen

Celebrate,
celebrate having known her,
her shallow depth and deep cold-heartedness
the seriousness that was ever there,
the facade, the pump and pain.
Celebrate the knowledge you are privileged to share,
with your family and friends, knowledge through unsavory remembrance.
Justice is but a walking shadow,
always whispering high tide, fresh bread.
And I have to yell back, no pennies, Prima Donna!

Premium MemberOgre

An Ogre is mean, an Ogre is ugly
An Ogre is smelly, grumpy and gruffly.
They are so big they can block out the sun
If you ever do hear one it's better to run.

Some want to eat you or keep you as slaves
Others will make you clean their old caves.
Apart from Serog who has never been mean
He is good, kind and friendly and only fifteen.

Wise for his age and peaceful is he
Has many friends including a bee.
But didn't like the meanness he saw
So set about to make kindness a law.

Meetings were held and letters were wrote
Hoping to persuade each Ogre to vote.
Niceness was shown and what kindness can do
Towards people, an a Ogre, an a reader (that's you)

Each Ogre was shown how to smile, but that took a while
Because it's never been their natural style.
They learnt how to be helpful, gentle and careful
And started to feel better and therefore successful.

An Ogre is friendly an Ogre is fine
An Ogre can smile and even queue in a line.
An Ogre won't eat you they now eat their greens
But an Ogre can be windy after eating baked beans.

How To Be Wise and Nice

If we forget noble friends
And stay with no regrets
One day we will lose them
Due to our careless mind

If we shrewdly use time
And distribute it equitably
Our success is assured
We get in life victory

If we know to postpone
When our mood is low
We end all heart-breaks
And pave a safe route

If we take extra steps
To stabilize our mind
We escape from gloom
Due to our wise action

If we utilize time carefully
By giving to all attention
We are in a safe position
As our joy is then intact

Let us ignore none at all
By taking honest efforts
If we keep ourselves busy
We surely achieve a lot

Perfect discipline helps
It rescues us from losses
We give the World the best
We usefully live on Earth

If laziness we drive away
If peace we evenly spread
If we make all get love
We form a paradise

If we tolerate kindly
If we offer assistance
If we chant a prayer
We purify this Earth

Our stay will one day end
Before that let us be noble
We must give all happiness
Before we quit this globe.

Premium MemberBeing Nice Today Equals a Happy Tomorrow - Inspired By Ms Greenway

What happens tomorrow depends on what you do today.
So, be kind to the plants and animals, and let them play.
If you hurt the world today, you'll see the affect tomorrow.
If you don't take care of it, you will only cause sorrow.

It's the same thing with how you treat your family and friends.
If you're mean to them, the colors of their happiness may turn gray.
So, if you want them to be happy tomorrow, again,
Always be nice to everyone around you, today.

Premium MemberA Nice Day -Revised

What joy I feel; this is such a nice day.
I like this beach we are at. In the sun
I want to swim, to jump the waves, then lay
out with no care. This is a day of fun.

Do not bring up one thing to turn me sad!
I need no stress in my life. For this while,
I want just fun and sun. Let us be glad!
This is a day of bliss to laugh and smile.

We too should sit and chat. Old friends are we
with much to catch up on! We ought to eat.
What would you like, my friend? Lunch is on me.
You see back there? They have stuff that is sweet!

I want some fast food. Do you want some too?
The best part of this day - I am with you!

Not Nice

Oh, little girl, that’s not nice
not nice at all
Those are not nice names
to think, Let alone say or call

Oh little boy that’s not nice
not nice at all
Thinking your 10 feet tall
bulletproof & ready to brawl

Scared girls
who just want friends
Popular girls
would much rather offend.

A frightened boy
who doesn't like sports
A tough boy
who just points and snorts.

No Bully in our school's
Isn’t that what they say?
That's a nice thought to bad
it doesn't work that way.

Premium MemberI Used To Write Such Nice Things Back Then

I used to write such nice things back then

I wrote about little brown eyed girls
I wrote about little red heads curls
I wrote about things that made me smile not cry
I wrote about life, and not about wanting to die

I wrote songs about my friends and sometimes my foe
I used to write such nice things back then, where did back then go
I wrote songs about the mountains, U know that's where the songs come from
Now I write about hate and death how I can't wait for it to come

I used to write such nice things way back then
Used to like to sing myself to sleep with my pen
Now I'm finding life to be just a bit too much at times
Now I'm finding all the hate in the world taking over my rhymes

But I used to write such nice things back then, way back then
Hope maybe someday, I'll write really nice things again
And I can fill my heart and yours with love and joy once more
For Ive some wonderful songs and stories in store

                                 PALLANES

Be Nice

to win
over power sin
do it with a grim
and don't think twice
and make new friends
is just
BE NICE
