A whirlwind of chaos, a joyful loud-sound,
Three wild spirits I love, on adventurous ground.
Fourteen, then twelve, and the youngest, a seven,
Bringing antics and charm, a small piece of heaven.
They build with their LEGOs, grand dreams in the air,
Fortresses, spaceships, beyond all compare.
Then out to the yard, where their sports battles rage,
I'm there in the stands, for each thrilling new stage.
My cheers ring out loudly, my voice strong and clear.
A beacon of love, dispelling all fear.
In the pool we all splash, on a hot summer day,
I'm caught in their currents of boisterous play.
The fighting erupts, a familiar refrain,
And I'll admit, sometimes, it drives me insane.
But a part of me grins, though I might roll my eyes,
Their bold, mouthy spirit, a delightful surprise.
For though they are noisy, and mischievous too,
And every day brings something wonderfully new,
I'm there for their plays, and their triumphs, and strife,
My nephews, my niece, the true joy of my life.

Restore the joys of life my heart once held
Too long the drought of loss and pain endures
Its toll has turned me once again to guilt
So hangs my head as sadness reigns impure
The loss I fear is much too much to bear
Soon another bier will rest upon the heath
Beckoning me like old Father Time so bold,
Snarling and bearing his ugly breath and teeth.
I will have the bitter taste of gall soon again
‘Twas three strappin' boys to my sister born
All fine. I remember when they were lads,
Went their separate ways each to great success
While alone I linger in old age and infirmity,
The oldest two pass, leaving young Danny and me.

My Nieces and Nephews
This is just a little rhyme,
That will make more sense in time,
A little keepsake from my heart to yours,
To remain with you as your mind matures,
So you will always see, what you mean to me,
So you will always no, my love for you as you grow,
At times you may mistake my authority, as simply strict seniority,
But remember it’s because your happiness is my priority,
I will always be your protector and defender,
Surrounding you with my love so tender,
No matter the disaster, together we will triumphant and master,
I will always endear every second that you’re near,
To fill your life with love laughter and all things nice,
To push you forward so you succeed at life,
To hold your hand in the darkness of strife,
I promise to be the best auntie I can be,
To love you as much as you love me,
Dedicated to my beloved nephews and nieces,
Our families best master pieces.

From Cousins to Nieces and Nephews
When young we have cousins; they’re second to none.
Then along come siblings’ each daughter and son.
A new wondrous time of our life has begun.
With our new family ties, new stories are spun.
We watch them together and having such fun,
and always there’s one who’s a son of a gun,
pulling pranks everywhere and on everyone.
Just leave them together all day in the sun.
They’ll be making up games before the day’s done.
In fields and back yards or in parks they will run.
Good times and loud laughter they never can shun.
Such close family ties between cousins are won.
But nephews and nieces that we love a ton
make each aunt and uncle a real lucky one!

my niece and nephews’ childhood's laughing sound
in quite loneliness I feel and in dream I found
when I see many other children on play ground
after one another they dash and run around
i feel my niece and nephews are in my compound
with a ball all they are busy to throw and catch around
in fun their sweating bodies wet in to browned
when trick is done by any one other gets wound
at that time to that spot they quickly come around
naughty one with smiling cheeks tries all to astound
seeing their lovely game my past memory does resound
their glistened eyes memorizes me my niece and nephews' childhood surround
