The Star Doctor

I met a man who said he had an interesting job yesterday,
He said he was a star docor,
He said many of them just burn out and need injections of plasma,
Others turn rotten at the core thinking their light is brighter than the others,
They go dim and nedd a good talking to,
Some can be prevented from going supernova,
If calming measures are used before they get really angry,
My failures are the black-holes who have consumed themselves with hate,
I travel the universe with talking to them, mending their ways and teaching them their part
in things.

Blasted By Waves of Fire

The clock moves in one direction
as we search for something
amidst the canyons
of our metropolis
All the dawns you have known
    have vanished
into
     Dark, black, night
We believe that light will
filter in
   We're hoping that it will
praying that it will
To continue our search
      we nedd warmth
and sunbeams - which will alow our tired eyes to find
what we are seeking
   here in the asphalt homeland
