Motley Crew of Corpses

One Summer night, just around dawn
A Motley Crew came to town
But there was something that filled with dread
They were all very dead.

The folk scattered to all sides
Escaping dead of all kinds
Skeletons and Zombies too
Some jokingly howling "Booo".

And so madness has begun
"Scaring people is so fun!"
"We will get you very soon!"
Roared the monsters to the tune
Of screams and chaos all around
This small and usually tranquil town.

With each bite their numbers grew
That's recruitment for this Crew
People hid, where they could
Be it house or shack of wood

Makeshift weapons were made in haste
No deadly object thrown to waste
Every owner of a gun
Got a chance of crazy fun

Those that were too scared to fight
Begged the others with all might
"Someone call an exorcist!"
"No, an army! I insist!"

But the army wasn't worried
The town just had to be buried
So they sent their pilot ace
Who flew over and bombed the place.

Premium Member We Were a Motley Crew

We were a motley crew
No pirate flag or eye patches
Still we were gloriously dangerous
The neighborhood kids
The south side gang
We tore up the air with laughter
Running house to house with popsicles
Tormenting the dogs who chased after us
Wanting to be in laps that never sat

That Motley Drama of Scenic Solitude

in the dead of (winter) night
in the dead of winter (night)
a mime was executed for stealing pancakes

the gunpowder tango sounded
over the burnt black bones of Bastille

wretchedness comes in manifold reverie
in distempered visions of epochal disasters

mime's widow's now loitering enshrouded
dismal and dismantled into the strawberry
storm of desolate lament on a horizon

monomaniacal embers of deceased mementos
shuddered after the rain of infirmity

day dawned once again with frolicsome frogmarch
in shrubberies echoing the ghastly romance

friendly fiends and fiercer fury of mountain tops
are inversed by limb contorting boredom
in the dead of (winter) night
in the dead of winter (night)

I Am Motley With Rain I Am Spreading On Puddles

I am motley with rain I am spreading on puddles,
It's so good to feel caress of shy kiss of spring,
Ice of sorrow has left in cold winter, it muddles
All my nightmares and I will forget them in fling.
There is dirt on the street, but I have no offences,
There's no blame in my speech, there are no cruel words,
I remembered the tale about apple, it's senseless
And discord was so funny among mighty lords.
I do not have to choose who is prettier than others
I have found someone who is so sweet for my heart,
She is waking up spring with her kiss; and the glasses
have some wine for this part for this glamorous part.
And I fall with the rain in these puddles, it's funny,
I am caprice of weather, the puddles disturbed,
I would like to be sunny for her I'll be sunny
I am Orion - singer I'm master of word.

Motley

Are you happy?
Look at what you’ve done
Gone and made a motley out of me
Like putting on a show
Giving all you wanted and needed
Just an entertainment to you
Tell me are you happy now?

You laugh at the bells
Tinkering on my head
You chuckle as the tears
Streak down through
My checkered makeup

Who do you think you are?
Sitting there laughing
As my heart is breaking
Can’t even say you’re sorry
For what you’ve done
Who do you think you are now?

You build me up
Just to tear me down
I can start to feel the cold
See the great shadow
Of the wall that is going up
You supplied the brick
I’ll supply the mortar
Together we will make it unbreakable

But I’m done playing the fool
I know how I got here
But I refuse to stay
I exit stage right
Run as fast as I can
To the other side
To the other side

I throw off my hat
And hear the bells sound
When it hits the floor
Wipe away the makeup
I’ll never wear again
Gonna write a new start
No more acting
No more plays
As I bid you good-bye
As I bid you good-bye
