To the skipper, first mate, and passengers of the Minnow,
there is this little something I think you should know:
Considering the world and the shape it is in today,
on that little island of yours, I think you should stay.

Waiter waiter!
look!
but monsieur
you ordered a minnow soup, n'est pas?
Waiter waiter
Not one swimming
around in my soup
a brown minnow full of brown poop
I don't want minnow poop
in the soup
why look, its a bald beady eyed minnow
waiter! I swear this minnow is drunk
ah Monsieur, we give all our minnows wine
before death
Waiter now I know why Greeks
throw dishes at walls
I swear than damn minnow tried to write
a poem, what gaul!
Plato must be going mad
in his grave
Monsieur , can we offer you some Coock & Hen whiskey
to drown out this bad taste?

Hard by brackish river's edge
danced the tasty minnow
angling past hook, line and sinker

She is
the innocent minnow
gliding through the shallows
taking shelter from the heat
in the heron's looming shadow
She was
born without the guidance
even animals seem to know
must be taught to their young ones
through the years as they grow
He is
the heron that smoothly
and slyly slips into the pond
with his patience well practiced
to attract lost and lonely ones
He was
raised without the knowledge
that gets passed down in the nest
great wings are meant for flying
not suppressing gentleness
She is
fortunate in this world
with kind strangers here to teach
with the heron bent to strike
they help lead her from his reach

Mingling multiplying minnows marvel masterfully and jaded hooded jalapenos race to the scene. For a pretty fortress is unveiled to a mass highway injection. In a timed spring curve heap hats. In a basting tree wear a nice vest with some heels. As a storm passes remember that a nine inch dome bowl is often a domesticated chatter box and holds vast amounts of information and instructional words to many a passing mouse. So always put leaves in a soup. Wear a spade and trowel. Mix a temple with a house to form associations of a flowery day. Snowing is great fun for those pickled and pins can win in toboggan competitions in world wide juxtaposition. Is merely a global push. A capitalist catapulting cavey. An orchestra of a self shrouded mission bomb. Swooping swerving swimming in acres of grasslands. Timelords. Tinkering. Tinkling. Tin. Tan. Ton. Tone. Dare to cross a washing line of over 800 metres. Balance on a scone. Sit on a sandwich. Or swim in a broth. Cavity carnal caves creating clapping dance. 3% of an oceanographic octopus at a grand ball. Oh how quite exquisite. Punky puffing puffins. Opulence. Orifices of domestic fishes. Cinema of calibration. *** moonbeams

minnow, crazy,

You never see an old minnow
They’re just bait
Something for another creature to eat
Farther up the food chain
I would love to catch a five-pound minnow
Catch and release. Now wouldn’t that be something.
I could see the headlines “Man catches five-pound minnow,
Doesn’t know what to fish for anymore.”
I mean what do you fish for with a five-pound minnow?
He’s pretty much the proverbial big fish in a small pond.
And what does he eat…surely he’s not a cannibal.
Perhaps frogs or small dogs?
I don’t know anything about fishing, but these things
Keep me awake at night.
Perhaps I need better medication.
Until then I will dream of minnow gray skies
And anorexic egrets.

Learn how to talk to different people, such as:
Mechanics who claim to fix your car and your problems,
Nymphomaniacs who can be kept eeeeeeasily aroused in what you say, and
Ostentorians who will help you be a good listener while standing decibels away.
Politeness and tact with all are the keys.
