Premium MemberSand Storm

Storm, hurricane, tempest, tornado, levantera, gale
Like shape-shifting werewolves and vampire wells, you whirlpool.
With gold, silver, and coal sand screens, the environs you veil
Like rounded, sub-rounded, mushroom-shaped mountains, you stand cool.

By building walls of dust and debris, you hold your head high.
In circular, curved, spherical, and ring-shaped rotations
Like Shanghai or Lotte, are you trying to touch the sky?
Have your roaring, drumming, and hissing themes got notations?

Burying seeds, ceasing seedlings, cutting crop reales
Moving particulate matters and microorganisms
Sparkling flashes of lightning and igniting thunder peals
You push humans and animals into a psychic spasm.

Amidst nature's many means of self-purification
You too have your participation in life transformation

Premium MemberPreservationist

Preserve it for history.
Restore it the way it should be.
Ecosystems must be protected well.
Store microorganisms in a liquid nitrogen cell.
Every item catalogued.
Replanting to replace what’s logged.
Various fossils preserved completely.
Apple sauce preserves quite sweetly.
Tyrannosaurus bones preserved.
Incas artifacts - museum pride of place deserved.
Oil spills must be corrected.
Neptune’s kingdom must be protected.
Instinct to preserve with care.
Sustain rain forests everywhere.
Treat nature well, make sure it lives- for the beauty it gives.

Universe Whispers In Silence

universe whispers
ever so silently
you can hear it
listen attentively

breeze
whispers endlessly
as it blows
tells stories from
far away lands

trees sing joyously
when new ones are born

Sunrays whisper
love, punctuality
warmth and light

moon whispers
God's love in dark

feel the agony of earth
when she is dug

of mountains when
they are bombed

of trees
every time
they are cut

every flower
each leaf
sings joyously

every fruit is
ecstatic
as it swings
in zephyr

microorganisms
insects
every life speaks

still your mind
in silent surrounds

listen to the voice of God
AUM
resounding

EARTH DAY 2021

Buy it a hat it’s going bald.
Today I bought DIRT….
top soil (allegedly)
sealed in plastic,
sold by the bag.
It claims to be infused
with microorganisms
and other good stuff.

Grandma Kelley used to tell us
“you’ll eat a peck of dirt before you die”
“go outside and play, get some good clean dirt on yourself”
We even made mud pies….
                                        and tasted them.

CELEBRATE “EARTH” DAY
Take a walk….take a breath…
and thank “MOTHER EARTH”
for not taking us all out to the woodshed.

Premium MemberFrom Icarus To Goldilocks

Ninety-three million miles
From sun to Earth’s Goldilocks Zone
Tiny Mercury and mysterious Venus
Torrid, too close to the sun
Carbon—based life prohibited
An Icarus Zone perhaps

But what of Earth’s neighbor?
Holst’s “militant” red planet Mars
Crimson star glows ominously
At 164 million miles from Earth

Theories abound
Scientists say Mars once had water
Microorganisms found
When man finally explores
Might evidence confirm speculation?

We may learn how species evolved
On a planet now dry and desolate
And what of the Sphinx head on Mars
Created by intelligent beings,
Or just a “natural formation”?

What changed to prevent Mars
From supporting life today?
Could Earth suffer the same fate?
Stay tuned to the news
Climate change is underway

Premium MemberI Wonder Vii

I wonder,
If ever the fruit thanks the tree
For helping it grow and becoming
ripe.

I wonder.
If the tree ever thanks its roots
For keeping it standing and for the nourishment
They provide.

I wonder,
If ever the roots thank the ground
For supplying a firm base to plant themselves
In search of food.

I wonder,
If ever the ground thanks the microorganisms and minerals,
For enriching its soil to become
Alive.

If no-one
Never express gratitude to each other
Then
A great injustice is committed,

UNLESS...

All of the above is one,
And as such, all work in unison for a single purpose:
To serve the divine will maintain life!

Tides

The tides of the streams of Warri
Have been here with me
Since my wee school days in that town.

The brownish waters I guzzled
While swimming the streams in Uvwie.
The brackish waters I swallowed
While swimming the McIver
And Udu Rivers in those days.

Have remained within through the years;
Pulling me toward those waters
Just the way the moon does the oceans.

To witness the simple complexity
Of the coming and going of the tides;
Spawned by the romance of Moon and Earth.

Oh in those days!
How they come and go; the tides.
And alas, the fate
Of the countless micro organisms
And their habitation in those tributaries;
The changes they encounter day by day.

The tides bring in so much hope
And take back so much hope.

Now I like a grown organism.
In this country that has become a stream.

The governments like the tides,
Come in and go out with so much.
And we the people have become
Microorganisms that must inure
The useless residues of
Their coming and going.

Panspermia

We have to go down we have no choice...

so the blueprint was formed

"seeds everywhere".

propagation from space

interstellar dust

transfer vehicles

impact-expelled cells

extreme microorganisms ,heavy bombardment

our intentional spreading

life on Earth was a must

Beautiful meteorites, asteroids and rain that came down red...

"seeds everywhere".

you had to leave the home universe

bacterial spores in dormant states for while

then out you came over time

the deliberate transport of you in space, maybe designed by you

sent to Earth to start life over here because you had to...

Stirring Up Trouble

Lord been through this before
Thoughts so deadly that pierce my mind
She says to bury sin, just get high--
Pulse quickens as the city fumigates

Cracked nails in a mirrored room
Sleep of a dusty kind is crawling
Now, no more lovers embrace
Just laying, food for microorganisms

I try to put the idea aside
Life is still worth something, I confide
To no one in particular

Just assuming a stance
An endless rhythmic dance
ossified mummies shake me deliberately
As the watery sun emerges

Life's Reason

LIFE'S REASON?

Where do we figure in the universal scheme of things?
this unanswered question is likely to so remain
we could be so insignificant, our egos would suffer pain
maybe we are caretakers, to preserve beauty in our domain?,
or no role at all may be our lot, along with other Earthly beings.

Does it really matter?...... we're here and that's a fact
it's a wonderful world to enjoy, within life's short span
whatever our role, if any, life's great if we can so make it
given reasonably good health, and strength enough to act.

To stay healthy is our main concern, and that of medical science
great strides in recent decades they've made, keeping us ahead
of viruses and other microorganisms, with aims we all do dread
their speedy mutations a constant threat, boffins combat
in defiance.

It would seem that life wasn't meant to be one smooth breeze,
there had to be adversaries to beat, just as in epic tales of old,
perhaps, when reaching our destinations, we will all be told,
'drink from the Holy Grail my friends, put on your Golden Fleece"
hicky.
