Mentally Ill Poems - Poems about Mentally Ill

A Mentally Ill Memoir

My mind shorts out sometimes
And my judgment goes out the window
That's when I do stupid
& the aftermath makes me feel suicidal.
Sometimes it leads me right into
Temptation
& straight into evil.
Catching myself zoning out,
More often than not,
not on happy thoughts,
But on traumatic events
And everything I feel guilt over.
The grim reaper was

I Wasn'T Mentally Ill I Was Manipulated

A people person made to not like people
I've known the worst ones, spiteful, evil,

I gave sympathy
they pointed out the wimp in me

I gave time
they mocked and undermine

I showed compassion
and offered protection
no such fashion
came my direction

When I was weak
they labelled me needy
suffered, didn't speak
my spirit was bleeding

my reality refused
but my pain was present
with everyone confused
I drained

Mentally Ill

Screams upon screams
Noise upon noise
Can't sleep again
These are the joys
Fancy a break?
Just take a pill

I Am Mentally Ill

Some say I am bewitched
Others believe that I am cursed
Many think I have gone mad
But what they don't know is that I am mentally ill.

I did not choose to be this way
And I did not ask for this
Neither did I wish to be like this
It just came to me just as it might come to

Mentally Ill

Sometimes it is just too much
I am up and want to touch
I am jovial and part of the crowd
Dancing on tabletops, being so proud
Drinking and laughing, I want to stay high
Spinning and grinning up at the sky

Sometimes it is just too much
I am down and don't want to be touched
I am sad and not

Mentally Ill

Someone please help me please call the doctor 911 it’s an emergency please
come save me
Because I'm going crazy a lot of people think I'm insane in the classroom
talking to myself as if someone is really there
But I swear I saw a girl sitting right next to me walking through the
hallways seeing different spirits
Walking home and

The Mentally Ill

Mental Illness

We are the last
vestiage of the
ostracized.

We are the lepers
of the moon who
walk among the
unforgiving innocent
with luminous sores.

We are hieratic stones
that mark a trail to divinity,
unaware of mediocrity.

We are the nightmare
and cuirass of your
terminal souls.

We are the delicate,
immortelles flowers
of creation's jewellery
and dwell

Proud To Be Mentally Ill

Proud to be absolutely crazy
Proud to be absolutely mad
Proud to be an outlaw in society
Psychotic symptoms
An absolute maniac to society
Police are looking for you
Don’t know who you are
Get a job mate
I have a job
To see things you don’t see
To determine things you will never see
To destroy and capitalize the world
I am not Hitler
I am the
