Don't call it meatloaf
or else my son won't eat it
call it mini meats

My dear Aunt Mildred was quite a kidder
Put bugs in my meat loaf, could've hit her
Got her back though
Put mustard in her hose
Walked around attracting little critters

Meatloaf

Meatloaf

The old man had bought minced meat it wasn`t much
he had to friends coming for lunch, so he added two eggs
maizena- flour, white flour, and milk and mixed well.
He left the dough in a bowl by the sink and had a coffee,
when he came back tiny ants –very tiny- had covered
his food, perhaps a thousand of them, as he didn`t want to
throw the dough away he mixed the ants into it and
added a bit of colouring to make it look darker,
he then made a meatloaf and served it with mashed potatoes
and fried onion.
The three old men ate well and as one of them remarked
this was indeed a meaty loaf.

The Meatloaf of Writing Poetry

There’s more to the eye than writing being formed from a hamburger patty
Words being the prime ingredient
Sentences line by line of aroma sent
What’s cooking from the cookbook of your mind?
Careful preparation being the understanding
The thought coming directly from the writing pot
A capture aiming for your head in being the plot
It’s a theory having or not
The reader meeting the poet
The sentences in helping you know it
A be our guest approach
A choke on words being a joke
The Poet’s voice has spoken
You the reader have been chosen
The Poet being the Shake and Bake, and the reader being how well can they relate
As Poet’s, they arrange writing continuously being a date
The ideas in thoughts never late
It’s the moment of satisfaction in having the reader appreciate.

Meatloaf

Am gonna love you so hard

She "sucks that I forgot my phone"
He "you need to unplug from that phone"
She "I actually didn't forget it. I looked at it as I was leaving and thought to myself that I needed a break"
He "you need to be off that phone for atleast 72 hours and the first 24 will be pure spanking"

To be continued...

On the mundane meatloaf I must opine

'Tis an all time favorite grub o' mine

      With smashed pertaters

         And fresh termaters

Topped off with a two dollar jug o' wine

Miscarriage of Meatloaf

Let me just hope I haven't told this one before...

Well, I've said before,
I am a good cook,
But let me tell you
Of a time,
When my confidence
was well shook...

Seems that on that day,
I decided to make,
A pizza dough wrapped
meatloaf,
So I mixed up the batch,
Of normal ingredients...
In culinary skills,
I rarely had a match...

Maybe I didn't...
Pay enough attention,
Or was fooled by some
distraction...
Cause I used lemon
flavored bread crumbs,
A dastardly action...

Later, when I did,
Proudly serve it to
my family...
Everyone's first taste,
Tasted so randy...
Into the trash,
It I did throw,
And from that point,
I did hence know...
If you're gonna cook...
Take a damn careful look!!
